First off I do not own the movie Alien or the characters within the movie thank you!
I also do not own the challenge that this story was made for on Assassins Den.
Note this one is going to suck sorry but it's all I could come up with without warping a character which I didn't wish to do and dishonor the movie! Note future ones will be better considering that I already have ideas for the other six of the seven deadly sins! This is part one of the sins Gluttony!

cargo: refinery processing 20,000,000 tons of mineral ore
course: returning to earth
Part's of The Nostromo are completely quiet, yet, on the bridge one can hear the ruffle of paper on a clip board. Suddenly the main computer comes online detecting a transmission of unknown origin, a beacon that repeats at intervals of twelve seconds. Due to this anomaly the computer or 'Mother' starts the process of waking the crew from hyper sleep to check it out.
Light's begin to flicker on, the door's to the hyper sleep chambers open and slowly the crew begins to wake. Finally with each crew member awake they gather together in the mess hall, eating and drinking to there stomachs content. Due to hyper sleep food and drink are at the forefront of their minds. They converse and joke with one another,
Cain: "I feel dead."
Parker: "Anybody ever tell you, you look dead?"
This statement receives some chuckles and smiles by all, but one. Not one of the crew too busy eating, a cat, Jonesy. Even though he can't understand the joke he wouldn't have if he could too into his gluttonous ways of eating to do so.
Again sorry that this one sucked I want to also say that the second one will be better also based on Alien. The next one will be about Greed! And no not Parker and Bret's greed. So please read the ones to follow they shouldn't suck the big one like this one does.
