Nico POV

Thalia and I were relaxing in a meadow we found in the woods. It had flowers of all different colors. Which I had to thank Persephone for. It looked the meadow in that Twilight movie. I couldn't believe Thalia made watch it with her. All three of them, in order. I know some guys are into it but it wasn't really my thing. But I did it because I loved Thalia even if it meant doing things I did things I regretted.

We laid there staring into each other's eyes. Even though I've stared into them several times before their brightness always startled me to no end.

Thalia sighed in contentment as she laid her head on my shoulder. I smiled down at her. I don't know what I did to deserve her.

I must have looked really deep in thought because Thalia snapped me out of it.

"What'cha thinking about?" she asked.

"Thinking about what I did to deserve you, "I replied.

"Yea right, I'm no prize."

"No you're more than that, you're my Thalia."

She smiled up at me and we heard rolling the thunder in the distance.

In a flash of light Lord Zeus appeared in front of us. Thalia groaned.

"Dad, what are you doing here?"

"I can't visit my daughter?"

"Dad you and I both know why you're here."

I just stared at Thalia in amazement. She stood up to her dad like nothing. Considering she didn't even stand up from her spot on the ground.

"I know. But can't a dad worry about his little girl. And the thing she calls her boyfriend." I shrugged. He looked at me disgusted. I didn't care as long as Thalia was happy I didn't care what her farther thought.

"Dad, if he gets out of hand I can handle him." She smiled triumphantly at him then looked at me. She had humor in her eyes. The face I must have had, really amused her because she started giggling at me.

Her father smiled down at us.

"I guess he's alright. For now at least."

Thalia looked at her father sourly.

"Just kidding. Just because you like him doesn't mean I have to like him or his dad."

I frowned at that and said nothing. You never insult the Lord of the Sky eve if he insults your dad. Especially when you're dating his daughter.

"See daddy, I am a big girl. I can handle myself."

Thalia stood up and hugged her father.

"That 'a girl," he said as he pat Thalia on the shoulder.

"Thanks dad, for everything."

Zeus smiled down at his daughter and left with a puff of smoke.

Thalia lay back down next to me.

"That was interesting," I said.

"Sure was," Thalia replied.

"You know what else is interesting?"

"What?"

"This."

And with that I, Nico di Angelo had silenced Thalia Grace with a kiss on the lips. Maybe meadows weren't so bad after all.
