Misaki rushed into her bedroom when she heard her phone keeps on ringing. As she checked who's the caller, her face contorted. It was a call came from the guy who broke her heart a few years back—Usui Takumi. She hesitated to answer the call. But as the loud ringing sound heightened her irritation, she had no other choice and eventually answered it. Anxious that, Tora might heard it and discover who it was. She doesn't like that idea. She doesn't want Tora to get jealous. Pressing the answer button, she rushed inside the bathroom and closed the door.
Igarashi Tora still got jealous when he heard about anything related to his rival. He had waited long enough for her. He was very patient of her tantrums. He was always by her side. He was the only person who helped her coupe up and get back to her normal self. He was always there beside her when she was in pain. She became his girlfriend after a long months of him courting her. Yet it feels like everything change because her first love suddenly comes back.
"Hello Misa-chan"A gentle voice heard at the other line.
"Usui! Can you please leave me alone and stop bothering me? You know Tora was now my boyfriend. I want to work things out for us—"
"No Misa-chan. You know I love you and I'm very sorry for leaving you behind. You know that I will never let you go. Just please give me another chance.
She was suddenly felt lost by Usui's statement. Her mind was arguing if she will take him back or continue her life with the one who loves her. Misaki made up her mind, by making the greatest decision she knows that she might regret. But she couldn't turn back anymore.
I—I'm sorry Usui, but I can't leave him for you." With trembling hand, Misaki ended their conversation.
On the other end, Usui kneeled down with tears drenched his face. He has been defeated. As the love of his life was now in the arms of someone else. Misaki had made her choice and even if it hurts him, he must learn to accept the painful truth, as the consequences of his foolishness. It was his fault in the first place.
Misaki held and tightly gripped the mobile phone to her chest. A knock on the door sounded, as Misaki snapped back to her senses. When she opens it, there standing outside the door was Tora with a relieve smile curve his face. The guy that stays by her side and never leaves her when the man that she needed the most abandoned her.
She hugged Tora tightly and whispered an 'I love you' on his ear. The guy seemed shock by her sudden action and statement. It was the first time Misa told him that she loves him. He just hugged her, happy that at last his beloved Misaki-chan reciprocated his love.
