A/N: Now that I've finished my big story's I thought I'd do a few one-shots. So please enjoy.
Nothing: -Ever since his death, since his spirit had left this world, Harry had felt nothing. The old man was supposed to be there. To help him, but, yet again, nothing.
As he stared out over the expanse of clouds from the astronomy tower, watching the owls and birds frolic all around him he felt nothing.
It didn't make sense, sure, when a boy loses most of the father-like support he had ever had, you're doomed to be sad but yet, there was nothing.
Turning from the tower, Harry gradually made his way down the stairs, down the hallways past the chatting portraits, past the gloomy students of Gryffindore, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, past the gloating students of Slytherin. Still there was nothing.
Reaching the portrait of the fat lady, he managed to choke out the password and walk into the deathly cold common room. The fire was going, but the students surrounding the boy who lived were too sad to make it seem warm. Glancing up, a bushy haired girl gasped and rushed up to pull Harry into a bear hug, mumbling something about being worried about him, but again, nothing.
Continuing on his way up the boy's staircase, Hermione following him closely behind, he walked into his dormitory. A red haired young man bounced of a near by bed and clapped Harry on the back, saying they would get through this. 'Yeah right.' Harry thought, as, there was nothing.
His sleep was filled with the same as usual that night, nothing. No dreams, no thoughts just nothing.
It was three am and Harry couldn't sleep. So making no noise at all, he went down into the dimly lit common room. Sitting down by the fire, he felt nothing.
He didn't hear the footsteps on the stairs behind him, he didn't hear nothing.
Someone walked out in front of him; he glanced up at them, his eyes wide. Soon the familiar sight of Ginerva Weasley caught his attention, and as she swooped down and planted her moist lips on his, and he responded as he would if they were still together,
he felt something.
