A Note
Disclaimer: I sadly haven't got the amazingly talent J. has so I can't say I own Harry Potter but I do however own this plot so enjoy
He couldn't bring himself to leave her, not again. Ever since she told him he had had doubts and now seeing her scream and giggle girlishly with Ginny and Hermione he couldn't see himself being in her, their, life for much longer. It wasn't because he didn't want to, cause god he wanted to, but he could live with himself if he stayed.
She looked his way, simply beaming with glee, and smiled. He could only return it with a weak half hearted smile (which she failed to notice) as the guilt of know what he'd done, they'd done, bubbled up inside. How could he let himself be so foolish? But then a love does make you do foolish things. He wanted to shout at her, scream at her, tell her to stop being so bloody cheerful, but he was Remus Lupin and he didn't scream or shout, so he didn't, he just continued to watch as she placed her small hands on her stomach and smiled at her friends.
Then it hit him. He didn't have to see her watch him leave. He could simply slip away and pretend it was a dream. Oh, but what a wonderful dream it was. He would leave a note on his pillow and just disappeared, simple as.
But it was that simple. He found that out as he stared down at the paper which contain only the words:
'I'm sorry, please forget me and more on, trust me its better this way'
He wrote it nearly an hour ago but had continually turned it around in his hands the minute he set the quill down. He sighed. Now or never. He slid his wedding ring off and placed it on top of the note which lay on his pillow, only centimetres from her head. Slowly he stood up, flung a small backpack over his left shoulder, grabbed his wand and as quietly as he could made his way down stairs. He reached the door and just before he open it he utter the words "I'll always love you Nymphadora" before walked out of her life forever.
So first ever Harry potter fanfic eep :) how was it…?
Good I love them best couple, bar Hermione and Ron, so pissed how little they were showed in the films but hey I still love 'em
