This is my first post here . It's a set of sentences based around words given by my professor. Hope you enjoy them!
Alphabet
Despite his many attempts, Mark was never able to conquer the Spanish alphabet. To Callie, it only mattered that he tried.
Birthday
Everyone knew Callie wasn't shy, still no one expected the burlesque style song/dance number she performed for Mark's birthday.
Chief
When Callie asked Mark about his decision to pull himself from the running for Chief of Surgery, he yanked her onto the bed and replied, "I've got better things to do with my time."
Door
Every time a door slammed in Callie's face, Mark was there opening another one.
Eardrum
Callie listened to her music so damn loud that Mark constantly worried about her busting an eardrum.
Fan
Mark's sole purpose for taking Callie to Yankee Stadium had been to turn her into a baseball fan, so he was just as surprised as she was when he found himself leaning in for a kiss.
Grapes
It was amusing the way Callie endlessly devoured grapes, but dry heaved anytime Mark offered her a raisin.
Head
It took a while for Callie's head to catch up with her heart. But when it did, Mark's wish finally came true; he was all she ever thought about.
Infomercial
Infomercials; both Mark and Callie took great joy in mocking them. Poor Tony Little never stood a chance.
Journey
Kitchen
After presenting Callie with a stack of burnt pancakes and a couple of undercooked strips of bacon, Mark was permanently banned from their kitchen.
Light
One night, Callie reluctantly admitted to having a mild case of nyctophobia. The next day she found a note: For whenever I can't be around, and a Hannah Montana night light in her locker.
Monster
Callie never believed in monsters, not until she met Mark's parents.
Navy
Mark was the only person who didn't laugh at Callie's childhood dream of joining the Navy.
Onion
Onion breath, Callie discovered that not even Mark Sloan was immune to getting it.
Pants
Mark and Callie had countless arguments about who wore the pants in their relationship. Ironically by the end of most of their fights, neither of them did.
Ride
Mark's extreme paranoia made riding the Santa Monica Pier Ferris wheel quite the adventure.
Stairs
The day Mark got into an accident, Callie cursed the hospital for being built with so many stairs.
Time
Third time's a charm; well, at least it was for Mark and Callie.
Uncle
The minute they told him he was going to be an uncle, Mark raided Toys R Us and bought an arm full of action figures, a couple of baseball gloves, and a Think I'm cute, you should see my uncle T-shirt. Callie could only imagine what he'd do when he found out she was pregnant.
Vow
Mark had seen Callie broken. He vowed to take care of her now that she was fixed.
Watermelon
Of all Callie's scented shampoos watermelon was Mark's favorite.
X-ray
Callie had never had a patient whine as much as Mark did while she took x-rays of his foot. Who knew that a man who sutured his own face would get so ornery over a sprained ankle?
Yoga
Erica had introduced her to Yoga, but Mark received all the benefits.
Zero
Number of women Mark Sloan has loved: three. Number of women Mark Sloan has loved more than Callie Torres: zero.
