Author's Note: I had to change this because people are butts. I'll post the original on my dA (Lily-Layton-London) if anybody would like to read it there.

Title: The Lonely
Rating: T
The Seer stared at her clock. Two am. Why was she up this late? Oh, right, she had holed herself up in her room, crying almost all night. Everything just hurt, physically and emotionally. Other than her sobbing, she was sure the rest of the house was dead silent.
How ironic.
Jackie simply clung to the ratty, stuffed toy she'd kept for years. She wanted it over… But yet, she knew that wasn't possible. This house, plus God Tier ruling. And there was no way her death would be heroic or just again.
Pressing her face into the pillow, the Seer softly sang to herself. A simple lullaby, one she'd heard a long time ago. Well, not that long, technically speaking… She was sure it was her former best friend, the one she'd grown to simply call the Knight of Rage, who had told her the song.
Oh, how she missed him.
And oh, how the longing hurt.
"I'm sorry…" She muttered, tightening her grip on the toy. She wasn't sure what she felt, but for a few moments, it felt like someone gently wrapped their arms around her. And, for those few moments, she didn't want it to go away. Not until she could finally get herself to sleep, that was.
After the feeling went away, the Seer moved to lay on her side, curling up into a ball, still crying. She needed to leave, that was it, she considered. Find another timeline, get rid of these feelings… And get away from them. This timeline's versions of her friends.
Even the Knight of Rage's counterpart.
Content on her choice, Jackie smiled slightly. She continued the song, but it still felt… empty, somehow. Like the song just made her worse, which is what she considered. Closing her eyes, she had the feeling of the gentle arms wrapping around her again.
If you asked the Seer of Time how she'd describe herself at this point, she'd answer with "A jigsaw puzzle missing a few pieces."
And at least emotionally, she wouldn't be too far off from the truth.
She finally drifted into a dreamless, deep sleep, with a small smile on her face and tears staining her cheeks.
She finally had found herself content.
At least, some version of it.
Jackie wasn't quite sure what to call it, but she finally had some idea of what to do next.
