A/N: I wrote this after reading New Moon, the chapters where Edward leaves and Bella's a zombie, for the third time. It's from Bella POV, back when she believed Edward didn't want her. Hope you like it, R&R as always!

Disclaimer: I don't own Twilight, but I do own this poem. It's mine, no stealing!

I close my eyes

Letting the tears fall

Remembering past times

Happier times

Times with you

I drift into sleep

And in my sleep, I dream

I dream of men who sparkle in the sun

Men with unnaturally pale skin

I wake up screaming

I wake up thinking of you

Thinking of the forbidden

Remembering the tabooed

Memories of the unforgettable

Memories of your icy skin

Of your topaz eyes

Of your flawless face and body

Memories of your family

Of tiny, pixie-like girls

Of muscled, bear-like boys

Memories of my birthday

Of snarling, honey-blonde vampires

Of the glass cutting my skin

Of your brooding silences

I wake up abruptly, screaming once more

I'd hardly noticed I'd fallen asleep

That my memories had taken a dream-like quality

There was no difference between consciousness and unconsciousness anymore

Not since you left
