On a summer day, one where it didn't seem much of a summer day, Riku for once in his life, prayed. On this summer day which is so unsummerlike, Riku prayed so so hard. His eyes were closed gently, though, and a face so content as that you wouldn't have thought everything wasn't perfect.
Everybody believes and thinks and possibly hopes everything is and will be perfect. But everything is so not. And Riku just prayed harder.
Everybody said praying helps, just pray pray pray and it'll all be better, it will all be alright. Pray to the Lord and he'll answer you. Pray and hope.
So Riku prayed prayed prayed on this one summer day (so unsummerlike). He whispered in his mind to make perfect of the world so so not. So so hard he prayed to a Lord and yet the world did not change.
'He wouldn't stop bleed'in, no, Open wound for all to see. Wouldn't stop pray'in, no, for all the world to see.'
Sang sang the radio on the open window sill that Riku sat beneath on this so so unsummerlike day.
Riku stopped praying for a second, just a few couple seconds, to see the world change. Opens his eyes and stares real hard, half listening to the radio on the window sill as it sang it's melody.
'Bleed'in to death, yes I am, for all the world to see. Hope'in and a Pray'in that the life you take of me.'
Eyes open, eyes closed, Riku saw no change, but maybe if he prayed while looking, it might, just might work out.
So the radio sat and sang and Riku sat and prayed that one day (perhaps more summerlike than this) the world would change.
Oh yes, everybody said if you prayed real hard, just pray pray pray maybe some day the world will change.
Except, Riku remembered, this one boy, he thought, didn't believe and think and hope like that. So maybe everybody wasn't really everybody and just really the majority. Who was the minority? That boy and possibly, just possibly now Riku.
Because for a while now he's been praying praying praying yet the world isn't changing and the boy hasn't come back. Riku had been praying for the worlds to change so someday (maybe a more beautiful summer day than this) that boy might come back.
End.

A/N- I was reading this book called 'A Clockwork Orange' yeah, very interesting read, and I just love books with a weird tone rhythm so that's sorta what I was trying out. Tone and rhythm. Different yeah, but I like this because there's kinda an open ended feeling where you can fill in the blanks as you perceive them.
Might be a another small sequel to this, depends on how people review. (And I haven't given up those other god forsaken works of mine...I'm just taking my dandy time tis all) xx
