Between them, the silence breaks them apart, inching ever so closely towards the end. Between them there are only but a few items, and much more space. Laughter left the room a while ago, and so did happiness. There's only one thing of importance here; a still beating heart.

Blonde haired kid is next to her, fifteen feet spread. Their distance is almost audible. He doesn't move, he doesn't breathe. His blonde hair moves with the open window. His crystal eyes; don't.
"If you can hear me, say something," the girl whispers, almost begging. Pleasepleaseplease. Say something.
The boy shifts positions and stares at her, his face blank.
Her heart stops beating; she can't hear him either.
