Friday night in Sin City
I can smell his stench as soon as he walks through the door. I've smelt it before. Tonight he's got something new on him. Blood. It smells like a woman's. This one's a real low- life and tonight he's lookin for trouble.
He sits down on the other side of the bar. He drools over Nancy with all the other losers but he's got somethin else in mind. He's the violent type and he needs his fix. I'm not sure why he's been comin into Katy's or why I have a sixth sense for these types but he's really startin to push my buttons. Whatever I'm smellin on him is his business but if he doesn't play it cool in here I'm gonna have to make it my business.
I throw back another shot and take what's left of my medication. Because of my condition I tend to get a little worked up. I take my mind off the guy with the mustache and try to enjoy the show. Alcohol and prescription drugs always seem to help.
Things start to wind down and I decide it's time to leave. Nancy got off an hour ago anyway. I'm walking through the front door when I get that feeling in my gut again. Where'd our friend with the mustache run off too? He slipped away just a little too quietly for my liking. It's probably just this condition of mine but I think I'm gonna check up on things before I go. As soon as I make my way to the alley out back, my suspicions are confirmed. It's Shelly and our friend with the mustache. He's gettin her pretty bad. I can tell she's crying but he's covering her face with something. I'm not gonna waste any time stopping this. I grab my gun a plug him. I make sure not to hit anything vital… I want this one alive for just a little longer. I walk towards them, he tries to reach for something in his jacket but I break his shoulder with my foot. I look at Shelly. She's been beaten up pretty fierce. But Shelly's tough… she'll live. I tell her to get inside. Even she's not gonna want to see what I'm about to this son of a bitch.
I drag him by the hair back to my car. He starts to put up a fight so I plug him in the knees a few times. He stops struggling. When I open my trunk, going over my arsenal of tools, I choose carefully how I want to do this guy. I think the blowtorch and the needle nose pliers will work just fine.
