Taniki's POV

Quietly, I tiptoed to my brother's bedroom. I kept my voice down in case he wakes up.

But he must be awake by now as it was already 6. I was planning to give him a surprise morning call but since he's already awake, I might as well give him an early goodbye hug.

I ignored the 'Keep Out' sign hanged on his door (I've been into his room like, a thousand times when he was in school :P) and turned the doorknob. I pushed open his door and popped my head inside to find him…

STILL SLEEPING!!

Unable to control myself, I cried out, "WAKE UP, ANIKI! YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE!"

As he heard the word 'Late', which was NOT in his vocabulary, his eyelids fluttered open and within a second, he was wide awake.

"What are you doing in here? Can't you read the sign out there?" He scolded me as he changed into some decent clothes.

So much for a 'Thank You'. I rolled my eyes. "Welcome."

The flight to L.A. was at 7.15 and it's a 15 minute drive to the Tokyo International Airport, TIA as people say. So maybe there IS a little chance that Aniki can arrive there in time.

I sighed. I didn't want him to go now. Time sure does fly fast. Although we tease each other every now and then (I usually start the fights. :P I mean, come on, HE'S the gentleman in the house.) , it doesn't mean I hate him, right? I just can't bear to see him go away.

I let out another sigh.

Aniki noticed my sad face and asked, "What's the problem?"

I smiled weakly. "Nothing. Nothing at all."

He stared into my eyes and said, "Hey, how could I be your brother without noticing that you're hiding something?"

As expected from Kajimoto Takahisa. "Okay, okay. I surrender."

Sadness overwhelmed my face as I explained, "I just don't want you to go, geddit?"

He leaned down and kissed my cheek. "Me too. But a brother's gotta do what a brother's gotta do, right?"

I looked at him for a moment, then answered, smiling, "Yeah."

"Takahisa! Taniki! Come down, you two!" Mom's voice interrupted our conversation.

"Yes, Mom," we replied simultaneously before we went downstairs.

At the airport 20 minutes later

"So, I guess this is goodbye?" I said meekly.

"Don't worry," he told me as he shuffled my head. "I'll come back soon."

Passengers boarding Flight JS90887 to Los Angeles may board the plane now.

"Well," he said, "I guess this is my queue."

"Bye, Takahisa-kun," Mom said.

"Bye, Aniki," I bided as I watch him disappear into the crowds.

Please come back soon…
