Summery:

The gods above have a cruel sense of humor, they break and destroy the hearts and lives of two 19 year olds, Kagome Higurashi, and Derian Chiba go through heart break and pain as each of them lose the ones they love too another. Kagome accepts it while Derian is heart broken to find his love in bed with another. One day while crying in the park Kagome meets Derian and they decide to give it a chance. Maybe the gods aren't so cruel after all.

Kagome sat under her favorite tree in the park crying. Inuyasha had just broken the rope that was just barely dangling from the slowly braking heart that lay atop that mountain we call love. Yet even though she was crying and she felt both used and betrayed, she couldn't blame him.

Kikyo had been the first too show him the love he so desperately needed after his mother had died and the world had turned it's back to him. So even though they were together again and it tore Kagome to pieces in a way she was truly happy. If there were one person she would ever wish too find happiness because they deserved it. It would be that particular couple. And so she was happy.

Not because her heart was broken.

Not because she felt used

Not because she felt cheated

No she was happy because her past self and her best friend and first love could find true happiness after the death of Naraku and the rebirth of Kikyo.

So why was she crying?

Well too put it simply. She felt as if her fate would forever leave her single and unloved. She knew it was stupid to think that, but the question is who wouldn't think such things after your life had been turned up side down and turned into chaos on your fifteenth birthday?

Well the blame laid on the gods and their silly jokes. Truly they were cruel when it came too one Higurashi Kagome's love life or life in general. They were especially cruel too one young man in particular. The reason as too why they chose to torment and get involved in these two persons lives is question we shall never know. But we can get close to solving that question all you my dear reader has too do is read the events that are about to take place in the lives of one Higurashi Kagome and one Chiba Derian.

So we shall start with the main male in this story and events will fall into place from there. With some cliffs and confusion along the way.
