Hello all, this is TsurugisFlame, ready to reveal my first story. I hope you all like it, as I myself have been hoping for a story like this one for a long time. Anyways, this is the prologue before the real story begins (which might not be a good while). So, well, here you go!
Edit: I've wanted to do this for a while now, but I only recently acquired the time to. I've decided to change pretty much the entire story. Hope you enjoy yourselves.
Disclaimer: I do not own To-Love-Ru, or To-Love-Ru Darkness. Both stories belong to the author, and only the information I have created belongs to me.
Once upon a time, in the galaxy we call our own, there existed a star. Orbiting that star resided an abnormally small world.
On this world, there lived a powerful race. This race, the Devilukeans (so named after their most powerful and glorious god) were an abnormally powerful race.
The Devilukeans were a warrior race who believed that without war, there was not peace, prosperity, or technological advancement.
This belief led to many millennia of planet-breaking warfare.
And so, when the Devilukeans discovered the existence of countless other worlds beyond their own, they rejoiced.
Millennia of warfare aided the Devilukeans greatly. Within only a century, they had expanded throughout over a dozen systems.
However, the quickly expanding Devilukean Empire would soon learn the price of galactic power. They came under alien attack, and were soon pushed to the brink of extinction.
From the ashes of a once great empire, a king rose forth. This king held greater power than any Deviluke had ever held before, and was backed with great wisdom.
This king established the Nation of Deviluke, an independent and powerful warrior coalition on the outskirts of known galactic civilization.
Centuries of galactic warfare had pushed the Devilukeans into an age of advancement, and soon they began to push their boundaries.
Within the span of a single millennium, the Nation of Deviluke became an imperial force to be reckoned with. The line of the great king had conquered nearly a quarter of the galaxy, and the now Empire of Deviluke had amassed enough power to launch what would be known in the textbooks as the war to end all wars.
Within a decade, the Empire of Deviluke had carved a bloody path of devastation throughout the galaxy, and none dared challenge their might.
The Empire of Deviluke became the Universal Empire and the King of Deviluke the King of the Universe. This was a challenge, to any who might disagree. Very little was known about even the nearest galaxy, so a notion such as a Universal Empire was ridiculous. Nonetheless, no one dared to speak against the Devilukeans.
The war, as it turned out, had not stopped any fighting at all. Countless organizations, rebellious and sinister and spanning the galaxy hid themselves amongst the ruins of the nations of the past.
And as it turned out, the Devilukeans had not visited every single system. They had not purged every world of unbelievers.
These worlds became the targets of the many refugees and deserters in the wake of the war. The presence of these groups attracted banditry and pirates, and the citizens of the universe had to fight for survival.
Furthermore, many strange and sinister beings inhabit the universe. Threats continuously emerge from the outer reaches of the galaxy and beyond, but the Universal Empire remains strong.
And as of late, the galactic patrols have become stricter. They have grown in number, and they begin to lose the little integrity they once had.
The Empire is breaking.
The Devilukeans are afraid.
They are under attack on all sides.
A little known and under developed world known as Earth by the natives becomes the target of the fleeing Devilukean princess.
A dark and immensely powerful force is gathering galaxies away.
A civil uprising is brewing amongst the citizens.
Soldiers are becoming unruly and cruel.
Secretive organizations are expanding.
Bandits and pirates pillage and burn.
Holes in the fabric of space and time are becoming more frequent.
Monstrous entities are emerging in the outskirts of civilization.
The Imperial Order is beginning to unravel, and soon there will be nothing to stand in the way of the bloodiest era ever seen in the history of the galaxy.
