The plot bunny laid a fluffy egg! And with the help of an online dictionary I was able to make Remus speak French!
Sirius looked over a Remus had fallen asleep next to him in one of the many armchairs in the common room and was being stared at by a group of girls. He gently prodded the sleeping werewolf who groaned but ignored him. Rolling his eyes he gave the sleeping boy a firm jab in the gut instantly waking the smaller boy.
"Je M'en Fous1!" Remus snapped in French and looked like he wanted to kill someone. "Oh, sorry," he said quietly and closed his book. "I'm going to bed, je t'aime2," with that he got up and headed to the dormitory.
Lily Evans dropped down into the now vacant seat. "You should really tell him you know."
"Tell him what?" Sirius asked even though they both knew what. He, Sirius Black heartthrob of Hogwarts, was completely and utterly in love with one Remus J. Lupin.
"You know what. I think he feels the same way about you, he says it often enough in French."
"Wait, what do you mean he says it in French?" Sirius asked his heart fluttering at the chance Remus might love him back.
"Well, after I heard him say it a lot to only you I looked it up in an English-French dictionary. Je t'aime2 means I love you."
Sirius was out of his seat and on his way to the dormitory before Lily could even blink.
"Hey Moony?" Sirius said quietly and sat down on Remus's bed.
"Ne réveillez pas le chat qui dort3," Remus slurred and tried to ignore the other boy.
"I only know one thing in French Moony. Je t'aime."
Remus stiffened and waited for the ultimate rejection, he was no prepared for what happened next. Sirius flipped him over and crushed their lips together in a passionate kiss.
"I love you Moony."
"I love you too."
