BEWARE THE GIRL
Abigail
Some things are hard. Some things are easy. And some things are just plain mean.
Like leaving your sister drenched in murky water in a well, hoping a monster or crocodile would come eat her.
Yeah, you heard me. That's what my life was for 12 years felt like. Not to mention, my stepdad packed up his things and left us, my older sister is in prison, and my mom is nowhere to be found.
Did I also mention I have two stepbrothers, a brother, and two stepsisters, constantly nagging at me and tugging the rug from under me. Literally.
Well I guess that's what life feels like when you've been living with your stepsiblings for half your life and you and your family have been living at an abandoned park for half of your life.
Welcome to my life.
Get ready to enter Tartarus.
Literally. My family's that bad.
And I'm not just saying that in a hate-love-family relationship.
It's true.
Abigail
Anyways, back to my terrible story. You do know what Tartarus is right? Bottomless pit? Ring a bell? So yeah, it's Greek. Well how do I know it? I was born Seattle but I visited Athens and learnt tons of stuff on it. I'm fascinated by Greek mythology, although my siblings beg to differ.
I live in an abandoned park. I steal but only because I have to. Because my life depends on it.
…
"Hey, Abs, where's Gabe?" Connor, my only real brother asked.
Gabe is one of my stepbrothers, although I think I would hardly call him a brother, more like a bully.
