Phoebe and Fiona were fighting near the edge of a cliff. Phoebe had found out that Fiona had gotten a kiss from Coop, and flew into a jealous rage. After several minutes of fighting, Phoebe gained the upper hand when she pushed Fiona, making her stumble backwards over the edge of the cliff. Fiona fell a short distance before grabbing the edge of the cliff with both hands, screaming in fear. Frightened, she looked up at Phoebe while hanging over the edge, trying to pull herself up.
" You're NEVER gonna steal Coop from me! I'm getting rid of you once and for all! " Phoebe told her furiously as Fiona struggled to pull herself up. " NO! " Fiona screamed, fearing for her life. Phoebe was preparing to stomp on Fiona's hands when to her surprise, she heard an evil laugh, and turned around. She was shocked to see Kat hiding behind some bushes with his tail sticking out, laughing triumphantly at Fiona's imminent demise.
Phoebe thought, " What am I doing?! If I get rid of Fiona, that purple pest will win! I'm being just as evil as him! " Feeling conflicted, she nervously looked back at Fiona, whose fingers were slipping from the edge. Soon, she lost her grip and screamed as she started to fall off the cliff, and Phoebe rushed to grab her right wrist, yelling, " NO! " She grabbed her wrist just in time, preventing Fiona from falling to her death.
Fiona was shocked and confused at Phoebe saving her life when she was just recently trying to kill her. Holding Fiona's wrist so tightly that she was squeezing it, Phoebe yelled in a panicking tone, " TAKE MY HAND! " and reached for her. Terrified of falling to her death, Fiona reluctantly decided to trust Phoebe, and started to reach for Phoebe's left hand.
After a few seconds of struggling, Phoebe successfully grabbed her hand, and summoned all her strength to pull Fiona up and towards her, backing away from the cliff with her eyes squeezed shut. When she had finished, Fiona was lying in front of her, no longer dangling over the edge of the cliff. Phoebe sat down from exhaustion, and sighed in relief at the same time as Fiona, thankful that she had prevented herself from making a horrible mistake.
After several seconds of lying down in front of Phoebe, trying to come to terms with what had happened, Fiona finally sat up, and stared at Phoebe in amazement. There was a silence. " You... saved me... " she finally said in amazement, and slowly smiled at her. Phoebe let go of her wrist and hand, looking nervous. " You saved my life! "
Then, Fiona looked nervous and said, " But... you were just about to kill me... " There was a silence as Phoebe's eyes filled with tears of regret. " So, what changed your mind? " Phoebe hugged her. Caught off-guard, Fiona put her arms around Phoebe, returning the hug in gratitude. " I'm SO sorry! " Phoebe apologized, overwhelmed with guilt. Fiona replied with a smile, " Don't worry! It's okay! I forgive you! You saved my life! That more than makes up for it!... Don't be so hard on yourself. I won't tell anyone this happened. "
After drying her tears, Phoebe stopped hugging Fiona, and smiled at her. " Thank you for doing the right thing, " Fiona said with a nervous smile. After a brief silence, they were surprised when Kat furiously ran out of the bushes behind them and jumped at Fiona hissing, intending to push her off the cliff himself. Without even hesitating, Phoebe smacked Kat off the cliff to save Fiona again, and stared at him with a smirk as he fell into the woods below. Kat eventually landed on the ground far below, and meowed in pain.
Fiona smiled and said, " Thanks! You did it again! I'm never gonna forget this! " before giving Phoebe another hug. " You're welcome! And feel free to tell Coop what happened this time! " Fiona replied, " I will! Come on, Phoebe, let's go home, " pulled away from the hug, and went home with her.
