The bar was packed. The heroes walked to their usual stools in the back corner of the private room. One by one they sat in their seats: Firion, a white haired man; Luneth, also a white haired man; Ingus, Luneth's brother, a blond man; Cecil a third white haired man, Bartz, yet another white haired man; Terra, a green haired woman; Zack, a black haired man; Cloud, a blond haired man; Squall, a brunet man; Zidane, another blond man; Tidus, a dirty blond teen; Basch, a blond man; and Ashelia, a gray haired teen. Firion brought the meeting to order.
"Today we welcome a new member to the Order of Heroes."
"Here here!" everyone else called.
The door opened, a pink haired woman walks in.
"Fellow heroes, welcome Lightning Farron."
"Welcome Lightning."
She only nods then sat next to Ashe.
"So, as always we start with things we fear, and again as always I'm scared of Maria."
"Aria, like always."
"Sara."
"Rosa."
"Lenna."
Terra smirked "Fear."
"Aerith."
"Tifa."
"Rinoa."
"Garnet."
"Yuna."
Basch points at Ashe.
"Amnesia."
Everyone looks at Lightning.
"First, did all the guys name a woman?"
"With the exception of Basch, our wifes or girl-fiends." Cloud said with a grin.
"My Queen." Basch said.
"Just goes to show, even the greatest Swords men," Zack started
"Is scared of his wife." Squall finished.
Lightning smirked, "Well the death of my sister."
Everyone nodded.
"So Lightning where did you get your Gunblade?" Squall asked
"Standard issue for the Guardian Corps."
Squall shook his head "Standard issue?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Mine is a specialty weapon, and I'm part of an elite group."
"Squall, you're a merc." Zack retorted.
"Isn't that what you wanted to do?"
"Yeah, after SOLDIER was tore down."
Zack and Squall started squabbling
"So Lightning, do you have a significant other?" Ashe asked.
"No, you?"
"Widowed." Ashe answered sadly.
The rest of the night went past in a blur. At one point Squall and Cloud started fighting, their blades creating waves of energy. Tidus told Lightning that this happens every week during all the meetings. After the meeting, and all the heroes started to walk their own way Firion asked Lightning
"So, what do you think?"
"An interesting crowed, I think Tidus is a little to young, but…"
Firion nodded "Yeah Tidus is young but, his father left because of an untimely death, but Tidus is just a younger, nonalcoholic, non-womanizing version of his father."
"He would have been interesting."
"He was, but he died before even Ziden, Basch, or Ashe joined."
Lightning found her Chocobo.
"Well, until the next meeting."
"See you there."
