A/N: Hey! Just some sweet stuff for your hungry mind.

DISCLAIMER: I (unfortunately) do not own Vlad. Or Nelly or the entire series they are from.

Anywho…read on!

Vlad cleared his throat to get Nelly's attention, who was curled up with Amenti on the well-loved sofa, reading a book. She looked up at him with a warm motherly smile.

"Yes, Vlad?" She asked.

Vlad cleared his throat again, held out a tidy piece of paper and read:

"Nelly,

You were there from the moment I was born,

You fed me,

You clothed me,

You taught me.

You even took me in when my parents died.

You don't mind my strange appetite,

Or the fact that psychotic vampires are always trying to kill me.

For every bandaged bruise,

Every scrapped knee.

You may not be my real mom,

But it sure feels like it to me.

Happy Mother's Day, Nelly."

Vlad blushed as he finished reading the poem. When he looked up, he saw that Nelly had tears in her eyes. She wipped them away with the back of her hand and grinned. Vlad's aunt got up and came over ot give her nephew a tight, mom-like hug.

"Oh Vlad. That was very thoughtful. Thank you very much." She said as she kissed the top his cheek, not being able to reach his forehead.

"Happy Mother's Day, Nelly." He repeated.

A/N: Awww! Now wasn't that cute? This was inspired by the Mother's Day poems we're working n in English. Anyway, R&R and Write ya later!
