Prologue

The Oblivion Crisis is over and the people in Cyrodil live in peace. Everything that once was destroyed is now rebuilt from the creatures on the plain of oblivion. There are no more heirs to the throne. Martin is dead but his sacrifice was not in vain.

For it was he who "closed shut the jaws of oblivion". But all is not well still for in skingrad the count is becoming more and more wicked as the day goes by feeding on peoples blood leaving them dry. Not even the Order of the Virtuous Blood can stop him. In Anvil the pirates in Dunnbaro cave have mutilated the town. The anvil chapel attack was a blow to many of the people on the gold coast and the perfect time for these pirates to attack.

In Leyawin the count is having hard time keeping the black bow bandits down. Even Mazoga the Orc cannot defeat them. Chorrol the city between The Great Forest and The Colovian Highlands is facing a serious problem. For Count Indayrs is dead and his son lost forever in the plains of Oblivion.

Cheydinhal is facing gang violence do to skooma dealers. Bruma has been through so much during the oblivion crisis, Great Gate, destruction of Mages Guild. Cloud ruler temple has been deserted for some time and Jauffre is sick and dying. With no emperor and no blades. Jauffre has no one to turn to, not even Baurus.

Bravil is suffering great casualties in a war against the Dark Brotherhood. The imperial city is still standing, the arena grand champion has been defeated, and the temple district is home to Cyrodil's most glorious tourist attraction. Everyone from all he provinces goes to Cyrodil to see the statue of Akatosh. People do not the true story behind it. Only Jauffre, the Champion of Cyrodil and a mysterious man who claims to have seen Akatosh in a vision.

The first city to witness the destructive force of the Mythic Dawn and Mehrunes Dagon was Kvatch. Kvatch is still a mess. It is worse than all the other cities put together. But there is hope for there is another heir. Not for the Emperor, but for Kvatch. Like martin he will soon discover his destiny…
