She's Gone
Summary: Mara's opinion on Callista's fleeing action
Serves her right, she doesn't deserve him. She left him, she's gone. She took his heart and ran.
Poor Skywalker, he'll search for her, but he will never find her. I could tell from the day I met her it wasn't meant to be. Yes, they adored each other; but that sparking connection just wasn't there. She didn't love Luke because he was Luke; she loved him because he was freedom and life. She used him, got what she wanted and now Luke's left alone.
Luke, Luke's a mess. I've never seen Skywalker this messed up. He saw her and he loved her only she could never return the favor. He didn't realize she wasn't the same Callista he'd met on the Eye. Maybe the lost Force powers played a part in the whole thing. Skywalker fell in love with a Force spirit and from what he told me she would have died all over again to save him and him for her. Even when she had him, given her life back through an enormous sacrifice so she could be with him, she still gave him up.
Serves her right, she left him, took his heart and ran. She's gone, and she's not coming back.
