WARNING: I wrote this a long time and it's full of mistakes and has a cliche plot. Read at your own risk and don't hate on me.
And sorry if I change point of views very often here. I always write in Third Person's P.O.V, but here, no.
Third Person's P.O.V:
The blond sighed dreamly as he looked at the pictures on his high tech phone, taken by Nino during Kagami and I's fencing competition we had a while ago. Ah...She's perfect.
His fingers ran across the screen of his phone again to go to the next picture. The next picture was of Ladybug, the beautiful girl with midnight blue hair and the confidence no one had. Not even him when he was Chat noir.
He sighed again and put his phone down when Natalie yelled at him about having an unexpected photoshoot in a few minutes. He stepped infront of his giant mirror, ruffled his hair a little, careful not to make it look like Chat noir's. He grabbed the cat kwami who had a slice of camembert in his hands and put him on his shoulder. He walked down the stairs as he sighed. Again.
"Duh. Stop sighing like that every single second because of those girls!" He said in a high pitched voice, his breath smelling like camembert. He groaned and waved his hand infront of his face to make it go away.
Ladybug looks a lot like Kagami. Sometimes I wonder what if Kagami is Ladybug? He I fell i love with both of them and I don't know which one to choose.
Plagg continued:"...Ew. Human love. It makes me feel sick and..." He was blabbering about how cheese is better than girls, but Adrien wasn't listening.
Kagami has the same hair color as Ladybug, she is half a head shorter than me, just like her, and I can't help but think that her voice is even like her. Plus, some guy at school told me that she has a crush on m-
"Oi lover boy, ya listening?" He said and Adrien was snapped out of his thoughts again. He shook his head no and said:"Sorry. What did you say again?"
He gulped another slice of cheese and said:" I said why don't you stick to that girl Marinette? She seems like a cool chick." "Oh come on plagg. Not that girl. I hate her. Remember the first day at school when I was trying to get that chewing gum off her seat? She thought I was doing it. It was a misundrstand. It was not my fault and she never accepted my apologies and kept hurting me. When I wanted to make one friend that I never had, Marinette hurt my feelings and began to hate me, so I hate her too." Adrien said and took in a breath, trying to calm himself down and get the picture of the bluenette girl out of his head.
One step left. He was about to put his feet on the ground, only to trip on it and face plant on the floor hard.
He groaned in pain and rubbed his nose as Plagg laughed. "I told you to stop daydreaming, kid." "Oh shut up."
Meanwhile at Marinette's room...
"Oh Tikki...Doesn't he look flawless?" Marinette said as she looked at her computer's background. It was a few images of her (As Ladybug) With Chat Noir fighting by her side with a brave look in his emerald eyes, saving the day like they always did. She couldn't help but smile at that.
The red kwami with black dots flew to her side and said:"Yes Marinette...you two are meant to be, remember? And I think he likes Ladybug so much as well. Then why don't you just-"
"I'm not doing anything for now Tikki...I can't! I'm clumsy and awkward underneath that mask and I'm sure he doesn't love the real me. He loves Ladybug. He loves the mask, just like everyone else. Not Marinette." She said with sadness as she turned off her computer, finally managing to tear her eyes away from the picture as she made her way towards her balcony.
"Marinette you are Ladybug! A single mask doesn't define who you truely are!" Tikki said, Making her flash a fake smile at him.
"Yeah...I guess you're right Tikki..." She said and sighed, leaning her weight on the railings and looked at the Eiffel tower. Tikki followed her as well and sat on her shoulder.
She looked down at the streets below as the light breeze messed up my hair. Suddenly, she saw a black limo driving fastly on the street with a blond boy sitting in it, looking out the window. Her eyebrows scrunched together as she recognized her classmate. It is Adrien Agreste. I hate you Agreste.
She noticed that he was looking back at her with a disgusted face, which she was sure matched hers. Yes, they hated eachother, After what happened in the class. He tried to apologize a lot of times, but I'm never gonna forgive him for what he has done. She rolled my eyes at him until he got out of my view.
I always wonder if Chat noir would reject me if i confessed my feelings to him. Would he be disappointed in me? What if I'm Not Good Enough for him?
Later That Day...
Ladybug jumped from rooftop to rooftop with Chat Noir by her side, who was busy making puns, searching for the akumatized villain that caused everyone in Paris to grow a lot of hair on their bodies.
Even though Chat was distracting her, she enjoyed his puns very much. Actually, she enjoyed every moment she spends with him.
Once they reached the villain, they hid behind a stinky trashcan and observed the akuma.
"I am hairdresser, and I have the best hair salon in the whole paris! There is no hairdresser better than me!" (Terrible name I know.)
The akuma let out a growl as she pointed her weapon- which was apparently a hairspray to a young man. She sprayed the magical liqued all over him and within seconds, a lot of hair started growing on his head, covering half of his body. His beard reached his shoes and his suit was becoming puffy because of all the hair growing on his arms. The man yelped in shock and ran away, tripping over his beard two times until he was out of the sight.
Ladybug looked at the man weirdly and then at the spray at the akuma's hands which was tied with a few strands of hair to the villain's head. That must be where the akuma is.
Chat Noir got up from their hiding spot, having the same idea. "My Lady, the akuma must be in the spra-" "Chat get down!" Ladybug yelled, a little too late. The liquid hit Chat's forehead, making him groan in pain. He fell on his back, holding his forehead.
Ladybug rushed to his side and put her hands on his cheeks, caressing them gently. "You okay Chat noir?" She said as her partner opened his eyes. In the very moment, his blond bangs on his head started to get more. Ladybug gasped as he grew a moustache and a beard.
"What the hell is happening to my purrfect hair?" He said with shock. Ladybug giggled. He won't stop making puns even at the most horrible times.
Soon, he was covered in a pile of hair. Ladybug left his side and faced the akuma. She yelled:"Lucky Charm!" And a pair of huge scissors with red and black dots fell into her hands. She looked around with her Ladybug vision and Chat's hand, the villain's spray, and the hair it was tied to were all covered in dots. She smirked and whispered:"Got it."
She ran towards the pile of Chat noir's blond hair which was getting more and more by every second, and yelled:"Hey Rapunzel! Can you hear me?"
There was a muffled sound from Chat noir, saying:"Haha! Did my lady just make a pun? Ra-PUN-zel! You-" Ladybug cut hom off by grabbing a handful of his hair in her fist, yanking it backwards. "Mewouch." The cat mumbled as she started to cut his hair with the huge scissors. She cut more and more, but it wasn't helping.
Finally, when most of the hair was gone, Ladybug put the scissors on the ground and said:"Chat noir! Use your cataclysm on her hair!" Chat noir nodded and smiled at her before holding out his right hand up.
"As you wish, Bugaboo."
"Cataclysm!" He exclaimed and the black bubbles apeared in the palm of his hand. He jumped on the villain's head, and connected his hand to her brown bangs. They soon turned black, and into dust, leaving her bald.
"No!" The victim shrieked as her hair-sprayer fell to the ground. Ladybug walked towards it, and crashed it under her feet, and the akuma flew out. She looked at Chat noir to see that he was covered in a pile of hair again. She giggled to herself.
"No more evil doing for you, little akuma...Time to de-evilise!" She said and captured the purple butterfly in her yoyo, and then, letting it go once it was purified. "Bye. Bye little butterfly..." Then, she threw the pair of scissors in the air.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" Hundreds of red ladybugs flew into the air, and fixed all the damage that was made. Chat noir's hair went back to normal and he messed it up again, turning it into the usuall style it always was. He sighed in relief.
"Pound it!" Both of the superheros said, connecting their fists with eachother. Right then, Ladybug's earings beeped. Chat noir was thinking of asking her to reveal her identity to him, so he could made sure that she was Kagami.
Ladybug was thinking about confessing her feelings to him. Maybe now's not a good time...This is a bad idea.
Her miraculous was beeping like crazy, only two dots left on each of her earings.
"Bye Chatton." Ladybug said with a smile and grabbed her yoyo, but a gloved hand grabbed her wrist in a tight grip. She rose an eyebrow nervously at him, worried about her miraculous.
"Ladybug, can you do something?" Chat noir asked, looking down at Ladybug with hopeful eyes. "S-Sure thing Chat. W-What is it...?"
"I want you to reveal your identity to me."
Ladybug's eyes went wide and her face drained color. She knew she couldn't reveal her identity to him, because she was sure that he'd be disappointed in who she truely is.
"N-No! You'll be disapointed!" she said, waving both of her hands infront of herself for emphasize.
Chat noir frowned and said:"No way! I promise I won't be, My lady. I fell in love with the girl behind the mask, not the costume." Then, he smiled at her and she blushed at his words. He...Loves me?
She was silent for a moment, but then closed her eyes, took a deep breath and said:"Ok. But don't break your promise, 'kay?"
Chat noir grinned. His plan was working. He put his gloved hand on his chest and said:"I promise, Ladybug. Let's go somewhere else so no one can see us." He said and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her body to him. She bushed madly as he extened his staff and it liftef them up. He used it to get them towards a dark alley where no one was around.
He set her on the ground and she bit her bottom lip and repeated:"Just...Do not be disapointed." Then, she closed her eyes, a tear rolling down her cheek from nervousness.
"Tikki, spots off."
Her mind was screaming to her to not do this, because of two reasons. One because of him, being disapointed in the clumsy, awkward girl, and second, because of the risk. It was dangerous for them to know eachothers identities. But she did it. Ladybug trusted him. She loved him and couldn't say no to what he wanted.
The pink light surrounded her and in a blink of the eye, the polkadotted costume began to fade away. Chat was looking with excited, happy eyes, but suddenly, he froze.
After she detransformed, she didn't open her eyes, ready for his reaction. But nothing happened. She began to freak out. What's going on?
Chat noir was frozen, his mouth going dry. Anybody, but her...
he thought. There was Marinette Dupain Cheng, standing infront of her with tear stained cheeks. Something in his heart snapped. He frowned and tears rolled down his cheek. He gritted his teeth, angry to see the girl he hates the most standing infront of her. The Ladybug he fell in love with was the stupid girl.
How couldn't he notice? Of course! Kagami had brown eyes, but Marinette's were blue. His eyes were filled with hatered and anger, and he clenched his fists tightly at his sides and more tears rolled down. He Is disapointed in her. 'I think I have to break my promise then.' He thought and faced Marinette again.
Marinette was freaking out. She could hear Chat noir growl and clench his fists. Why is that?
She finally found the courage to open her eyes and look at the Chat themed superhero. She smiled warmly at him, but it was soon vanished as she saw his tear stained face and clenched fist, along with his greeted teeth. The sky was dark already and Chat's eyes were glowing in a sad way. Her heart ached so badly. He's not going to break his promise, is he?
"WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE YOU FROM ALL THE PEOPLE? WHY NOT HER?" Chat noir yelled at her and she took a few steps back, tears rolling down her cheeks like waterfall. She felt so horrible to think about who 'Her' is.
His words broke her heart.
His words left a deep wound in her fragile heart.
A wound that no band-aid could heal.
'I'm Not Good Enough...' she tought...
"C-chat? y-you said you w-won't break your p-promise?" She said with shock and walked towards him. "Well, I was wrong. I amdisapointed in you. You worthless, clumsy, awkward girl... I thought you were her all along..." Marinette's heart was crashing with pain and her eyes were stinging when she heard the word 'Her' again. It hurt so much to see your love hate you this much. It hurt so badly...
He grabbed his staff and said:"...And yes, I broke my promise..." "N-no." Her lips were trembling with sadness and Tikki flew to her cheek, caressing it.
He said:"...I was such a fool..." "But kitty! I -"
Marinette was cut off by him, extending his staff and going away, not letting her to say the sentence that she was longing to say for a long time. A sentence that she wanted to say to him whenever he smiled, but she couldn't. She sniffled and her shoulders dropped. Then, she finished the magical sentence, but no one heard her.
"...Loved you..."
...
And I still do...
...
I always will...
Marinette started walking out of the dark alley with tears coming down from her eyes. She was looking at the floor, and the words he said to her were repeating over and over again.
You worthless, clumsy, awkward girl...
Tikki tried to confort her by telling her to not give up, but it wasn't working. Tikki was scared that an akuma might come, and it could akumatize her. Then no one would be there and de-evilise the akuma. Tikki wanted to warn her, but it was obvious that she couldn't hear anything other than the words that were rambling in her mind.
Why did it have to be you from all the people?
Another tear rolled down her cheeks. Why does it hurt so much? She knew he might reject her, but she didn't think he would shout at her or insult her. She didn't think he was like that. 'He made me so sad. So so sad, but I'll still love him, even if he doesn't love me back.' She thought. Another tear rolled down...
...Why not her?
She sighed deeply and stood infront of the bakery door. She wiped her eyes from tears and opened the door. She snuck into the bakery, hoping no one would see her, because it was already 9 p.m, and she knew she would get in trouble for being late at h-
"Marinette! Where have you been? We were so worried about you!" Tom, Marinette's father said, a little anger visible in his voice. 'Oh no. What am I gonna say? Think Marinette! Think!'
"I left my history book at school, so I went out to pick it up at around 8 this afternoon." She lied, sighing in relief in her mind. Is school even open at this hour? Suddenly her mother came out of no where and stood next to her father, crossing her arms. Her back stiffened as she heard her continue her father's sentence.
"Then why didn't any of us see you get out?" She tought:'Oh no. She's right. I left the house from my trap door, as usuall.' "I um, I went outside when papa was in the bathroom and you were busy talking with the costumer. That's why you didn't see me." They looked at her suspiciously, but then, stepped asside so she could go to her room.
She sighed and flopped on her bed, curling up with Tikki by her side. She started sobbing quietly, and Tikki said:"Oh Marinette. I'm so sorry that this happened...He doesn't deserve you." She patted Marinette on the head and hugged her cheek, making Marinette cry harder.
"I knew I wasn't good enough..." "Don't say that Marinette. You're an awsome girl and he is blind to see that. But try to not feel very upset, because Hawkmoth may be planning to send an akuma for you, and then there won't be any Ladybug to defeat you." Marinette thought for a second, and then said:"You're right Tikki. I should not think about it. I don't want to get me and my parents and friends in trouble." Then, she sniffled and got up, sitting on my desk, pulling out my physics notes. She groaned as she remembered that they're going to have a quize tomorrow in the class.
She couldn't focus.
I am disappointed in you!
She couldn't understand.
You worthless, clumsy, awkward girl.
I groaned and slammed my head against my desk. Maybe the best choice is to just sleep. Because I will get better in the morning, and I'm probably not going to be akumatized when I'm sleeping.
I walked over to my bed, and layed on it, closing my eyes, his words repeating in my head like the most horrible lullaby that could make you fall sleep.
Meanwhile at the Agreste manison
Adrien was laying on the bed with his hands on his face, tears running down his cheeks. He didn't even know why he was crying. Maybe because the love of her life wasn't the person he wanted her to be, or maybe because the girl behind the mask is the girl he hates. Marinette.
"Ah why are you bothering yourself so much? Girls have problems with theirselves. Just let her go. Why don't you fall in love with camembert like I did? It's simple. Plus, it'll never break your heart." "Oh shut up plagg. You don't know a simple thing." Then, he got to his feet in one movement. He looked at himself in his huge mirror in the bathroom.
He said:"Plagg, claws out!" Then, he transformed into Chat noir and jumped out of the window and on top of the roofs. Hr ran and ran and ran, until he reached a house that belonged to a certain girl that he had a crush on. He decided to talk to her. Kagami.
"Puffy, red eyes, messy hair, bloodshot green orbs, and angry face. Broken heart... it's obvious that he's feeling anger and hate inside him. Chat noir? Akumatized? perfect. I can use him to get Ladybug's miraculous by tricking him at first..." Hawkmoth said from his lair, followed by an evil laugh escaping his lips.
Third person's P.O.V:
He looked inside her room, and then jumped in. She was practising fencing with herself, quietly mumbling things to herself he couldn't understand. Her back was facing him and when she turned back and saw him, she didn't freak out like he expected her to do. She walked over to the window and closed it.
"What do you want, Chat noir? Superheroes don't usually drop by at my house and smile like an idiot at me."
He awkwardly scratched the back od his neck with his claws and mumbled: "Um, hi Kagami. I-"
"How do you know my name?" She spat.
Chat noir thought:'Oh...I like the stubborn, curious and sensitive side of her so much.'
"I um, I'm friends with Adrien Agreste. I came here to talk about him to you." "To me? Why me?" Chat noir ignored her question and said:"Do you like Adrien?" Kagami blushed and looked at him with wide eyes. He smirked, knowing that she wouldn't blush because of nothing.
Chat Noir's P.O.V
"W-well, yes, kinda. I have a crush on him, somehow from the first day I met him." Oh my god. She likes me! Oh...everything would be okay if Marinette wasn't Ladybug. I can just imagine her body in that Ladybug suit...
"Um, Chat noir, what are you staring at?" She said and I realized that I'm still imagining her in a Ladybug suit. I blushed and changed the subject. "Do you like him like...a lot?" "U-um, I guess..." Goodd.
"Well, he likes you as well." I said, blushing a little? She giggled and said: "No. That's not possible, because he has intrest in Ladybug. Not me. He probably thinks about me just as a friend."
Ladybug. That girl. Ugh...
"Only as a friend? But he talks about you all the time. He's in love with you Kagami." She gasped and a blush covered her cheeks and her eyes sparkled. She covered her mouth with her hand, and said:"Oh."
I smiled warmly, and before I knew, she hugged me tightly and said:"Oh Chat noir...thank you." I hugged her back and my smile grew wider. "Everyone say you bring bad luck, but you bring good luck, Chat noir." Then, she let go and opened her window again and said:"Go now kitty. It's late. Thanks for the good news." Then she winked at him and Chat gave her one of his charming grins, and then jumped out, disapearing from the sight.
When she couldn't see him anymore, he sighed and jumped down in the park and sat on one of the chairs, hugging his knees because of the cool weather. Even if he didn't want to, tears started pouring down again. His mind was hurting. The two mean and kind sides of him were battling in. His heart told him to forgive, but his mind told him to not.
Why do I even hate Marinette so much?
What would happen if Kagami was Ladybug? Ah, I'll do anything to make her the Ladybug. My bugaboo.
Marinette never did something wrong to me...
Maybe there's a way to change that.
And I never did something wrong to her...
Kagami is so much better than her as Ladybug.
She never let me explain what happened...
I saw a purple butterfly.
I'm sorry Marinette...
It came near my chest, and went through my suit.
But she never forgave me...
I felt a sharp pain in my heart. I gasped for air. It felt like I was stabbed in the heart.
So I'm never going to forgive her...
Breathing began hard, and I fell to the ground, holding my heart.
"Chat blanc, I am Hawkmoth. I will give you the power of super strength and super speed. You can even use your cataclysm many times until you are Chat blanc. You can go and get Ladybug's miraculous with these powers and make the person you love, become the famous Ladybug. You just have to bring me your miraculous in return."
"No! I won't let you turn me into one of your evil villains!" I said, holding my heart. I saw it turning white from my leather suit.
But Maybe this is a good idea...
Maybe I should get revenge...
"You won't choose, stupid cat."
I gritted my teeth as a new horrible pain rushed over my body from my heart. I felt like my heart is being ripped into pieces.
Hawkmoth chuckled and said:"I will."
I screamed in pain, but it wouldn't help. After 15 seconds of struggling, I calmed down, and opened my eyes. Suddenly, I felt a curtain of red colour, colouring my once green eyes.
I lost control. I felt emotionless. Like I was kind of hypnotised.
