Baby It's Cold Outside

Kurt and Blaine

"I had a great time tonight Blaine" I said getting up to go grab my coat. Blaine and I had gone ice skating earlier and then went back to his house. I was one of the most romantic evenings ever. While we were ice skating the sun was setting and then the stars shone through. Blaine had been the perfect gentlemen, paying for my hot chocolate – after I tried to pay for it – and he was even patient with me while we were ice skating and I was afraid of falling on my ass. Then we took a walk around the park under the stars till we both got too cold to stay out any longer. To say I was awestruck is a complete understatement.

"Do you really have to go now? Can't you stay just a little bit longer?" He asked, his eyes pleading. I looked at the clock 10:45, I only had fifteen minutes to get home before curfew.

"I can't, I'm sorry" a look of disappointment flashed through Blaine's eyes.

"Kurt -"

"I'm sorry Blaine I really have to go, but I'll call you when I get home." I said with my hand on the door.

"Please Kurt, one more song, just one" Blaine said turning on the radio to the Christmas station just as Baby It's Cold Outside came through. "I love this song, please Kurt" Blaine pleaded.

"I'm not sure -"

"Please" Blaine whispered grabbing my hand. "Just this last song." He whispered.

"Ok," I sighed. "But only one song." Blaine smiled taking my hands as he took off my jacket. Blaine dragged me to the middle of the living room. He wrapped his arms around my waist, his pinkies resting just under the hem of my sweater, causing my skin to rise up in goose bumps. I then followed suite and wrapped my arms around his neck, playing with the short, dark curls that lay there. Blaine smiled and started to sway.

"I simply must go" I whispered, dancing slowly with him, singing with the song.

"Baby its cold outside" Blaine whispered – sending shivers down my spine – as he looked out the window at the small amount of snow falling to the ground.

"The answer is no" I sand however I moved closer to him.

"Oh, baby its cold outside"

"This welcome has been -"

"I'm lucky that you dropped in" he whispered his voice smooth.

"So nice and warm"

"Look out the window at that storm." Blaine sang as we both looked out at the small fluttering in the darkness of the night.

"My sister will be suspicious" I sang and moved closer.

"Man, your lips look delicious" Blaine sang, moving close enough so that our foreheads and chests touched. He leaned in closer and brushed my lips with his. It was only a few seconds, it was sweet and loving without being overbearing, it was heaven. Blaine's lips tasted faintly of cinnamon and hot chocolate. "Gosh your lips are delicious" he sang as he broke the kiss, along with the radio. I just smiled, he was too cute.

Baby It's Cold Outside is officially my new favorite song, period.
