DISCLAMIER: I DON'T OWN TWILIGHT
A/N: Ok so this is how I spent my day minus Edward (sadly). We had a snow day and now our teachers are going on strike! They had a strike last year and we had to go to school till the end of June. Sorry for the ramble I'm just really distraught over it all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The snow began to collect on the driveway. I glanced out the foggy window. The snow was beautiful and all but, it did mean I had to plow the driveway and of course it about ten degrees colder.
Edward was out hunting I missed him terrible. He promised he would return at three in the afternoon.
My eyes shot to the clock, twelve. Ugh.
The new was on. The reporter was going over the schools that were cancelled today. Forks High was one of the many.
I figure I should start shoveling now seeing as I won't finish till I'm thirty. Charlie was at work so I guess I'm on my own.
I bundled up in as many layers I could possibly have on. I hobbled out the front door with the old rickety shovel in my hand. I started at the top step and continued on.
The fact that Edward wasn't with me made me feel weaker then normal and even a little irritated.
I was only about halfway done when I was shocked by something that simply took my breath away. Two strong icy arms wrapped around mine and easily lifted the shovel full of snow and threw it like it was nothing.
"Edward," I gasped. "When you get here?" I felt my face become red. Had Edward seen me fight with a pile of snow? With the snow winning. I thought.
"You're cute when you can't lift something." Edward chuckled.
I faced the ground so he wouldn't notice my embarrassment.
"Need help?" Edward asked looking at my poorly shoveling skills.
"Nope, I'm perfectly capable of doing this myself." I attempted to fight his embrace. He released me, and my clumsiness made me slip on a same patch of ice; Edward caught me as I ascended to the ground.
"Thanks." I muttered. I collected myself. And with a sigh I continued on with my 'mission'.
Then in a flash, I didn't have time to gasp. The shovel was gone and blur shot passed my eyes.
"Edward." I hissed and sneered his name.
I heard a ghostly laugh around me. I watched the snow quickly disappear and placed over to the sides of the driveway. It was almost magical to watch the snow laying peacefully then a dazzling flash passed by and the snow is instantly gone.
Within about one minute the area was perfectly clear and two arms were around my waist and chin sweetly on my shoulder. I breathed in his scent, fresh.
"Now wasn't that much easier?" he velvet voice rang in my ear.
I sighed as my reply. I could care less if he plowed my driveway, as long as he was next to me, all was right.
He turned me around so I was facing him. I was caught off guard on how gorgeous Edward is, and always will be. His pale skin made is golden eyes vibrantly glow. And his hair had snowflakes gently falling into place on top his head.
"I love you." He pulled me toward his face. Softly Edward cupped my cheek and our lips met. His cold hard lips made mine melt. The kiss began to get a tad bit lengthy, seeing as I was stricken with light-headedness.
Edward's short three words still hung in the winter's air. With hardly any force he pulled back.
"I love you too." I smiled.
A/N: This is a One-Shot but if you really liked it I could do something more with it.
Thanks.
