AN: This is my second Dragon Ball/Sailor Moon Crossover. My last fic was on Trunks and Serena. However, I think it would be cute to see Trunks and Rini as a couple. I think this for a couple of reasons: 1. They are both heirs to their respective kingdom and race; 2. They are both young and naïve; and finally, they both have to hid the fact that they have powers. I also don't see a lot of fics with this pairing and I think it is cute. So enjoy! Also, this story will take place during Super and during the Dead Moon Circus Arc.

Chapter 1: First Meetings

Rini was walking to the Shrine from school alone, she was pushed into an alley. "You think you are so special huh?" Rini looked up and saw three boys from her class.

"Leave me alone." She told the boys.

"No. You will pay for making us look stupid and getting us in trouble." The boys were punching their own hands.

"Leave me alone!" Rini said again. She was against the wall at the end of the alley.

"You heard the girl, leave her alone. If you want to fight someone, fight me." A new voice said. The four people in the alley turned to look at the new person. This boy was around their age, he had his arms crossed over his chest. His hair was lavender and his eyes are blue, and his skin was tan. He was wearing a green Gi with orange wrist bands and sash.

"Fine if you want to lose." The leader of the boys smirked.

Rini watched as the boys' fight, the boy in the green Gi was beating the other boys. They ran away, the boy in the green Gi went up to Rini. "Are you okay?"

"Y-Yes. Thank you."

"You're welcome. What is your name?" He asked her.

"Rini. What is yours?" She asked.

"Trunks. Would you like me to walk you to your destination?" Trunks asked him as he held out his hand to her.

"Sure." Rini said as she grabbed Trunks' hand. The two walked down the street holding hands, "Do you live around here Trunks? I haven't seen you around before."

"No. I live in East City."

"East City? But that is two hours away. Why are you here?"

"Oh my Mom is pregnant and wanted some food from here." Trunks said like it wasn't that big of a deal.

"She sent you? What about your father?"

"Dad is busy getting Mom to relax she likes to work, and I can handle myself. I can protect myself if I need to as you saw." He said as they crossed the street. "Where are we going anyway?"

"To a Shrine, my friend Raye lives there. We are meeting my cousin and our other friends there." Rini said, 'He is cute, and really strong…He is also really nice to help a stranger.'

Trunks looked over at the girl he was walking with, 'Her power feels strong, but it is weaker than mine and Goten's. I wonder if she has some fighting experience or if she uses Ki?' Both of them were lost in thought as they absentmindedly laced their fingers. Rini saw the other Scouts and Darien at the bottom of the stairs leading to the Shrine.

"We are here." Rini said as they approached the people.

"Awesome. Are those your friends?" Trunks asked.

"Yeah."

Trunks saw a girl with long blonde hair that was up in two buns turn to them, "Rini! There you are!" She came over to them. "Where were you? We were just about to come looking for you."

"Some bullies cornered me, and my new friend Trunks saved me from them." Rini explained as the others came up to them.

Trunks stood there awkwardly, "Rini, I better get going. Maybe we will see each other again." He said as he let go of her hand. The woman with the buns turned to Trunks.

"You saved her? Thank you. What is your name?"

"Trunks. I need to be gong. Bye Rini." He said as he started to walk away.

Rini looked at him, "Trunks, wait!" Trunks stopped, Rini came up to him and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you."

Trunks stood there his face went red his hand on the cheek Rini just kissed, "Y-You're welcome." He turned and ran away.

"He is a little cutie." Mina said to Rini. "You were holding hands with him, is he your boyfriend?"

"No! He is just a friend…but I think I have a crush on him." Rini said.

-With Trunks-

'She kissed me on the cheek…what do I do?' Trunks thought as he flew home. 'Should I ask Mom and Dad?'

Trunks landed at his house and gave his mother the food she wanted, "Trunks honey? Is everything alright?"

Trunks sat down next to her, "Mom, I saved a girl from bullies." He started. Trunks told her what happened during his time in Juuban City. "Then when I was leaving she told me to wait and she kissed me on the cheek."

"You are acting like a little Prince, honey. That was so nice of you." Bulma said with a smile.

Trunks smiled back, "Dad is teaching me how to be a Prince, along with training."

Bulma smiled, "What is the name of the girl you saved?" Bulma asked as Vegeta entered the room.

"Girl you saved?"

"Yes, your son acted like a sweet Prince and saved a nice little girl." Bulma explained. "What was her name?"

"Rini." Trunks said.

"Oh that sounds so cute!" Bulma said. "I know you should invite her over I want to meet her!"

"Mom…" Trunks said blushing.

"Bulma let the boy be." Vegeta said, "Son, come with me time for your training." They went off to train.

Bulma smiled as she pulled up her computer and typed in the name 'Rini' into it. She found her 'Oh she is so cute! I will invite her over, Trunks will be happy.' She found the number of someone named 'Serena' she dialed the number. The phone rang for a couple of minutes.

"Hello?"

"Hello, my name is Bulma, I am Trunks' mother."

"Oh the boy who saved Rini, right?"

"Yes, I was wondering if she, and of course you, want to come over so I can meet you?"

"Okay that works, what time and day will work for you?"

The two women talked about coming over this weekend, Bulma decided to keep it a secret from Trunks to surprise him.
