For My Silver Fox

Gibbs walked out of the elevator and went towards his desk. The lights were mostly off in the bullpen. Gibbs arrived early today, like most days.
As he sat down in his chair he reached down to open a drawer for his glasses.
A rare smile appeared when he looked down to find a large, flat box covered in black wrapping paper. Tiny white skulls graced the paper as well as a large bright yellow bow.
"Abby." Gibbs spoke softly as he examined the package.
His girl remembered his birthday. Something only his team would know.
He stared at it for a few more moments before starting to pull away the wrapping.
Once the paper was pulled off Gibbs' eyes started to gloss over with tears. A rare emotion for a man like Gibbs.
A dark blue scrapbook was in his hands. A photo of his NCIS family sat in the opening on the front. The word "Family" was written underneath in light blue.
He was surprised when he flipped it open.
The first page contained photos of Shannon and Kelly. Even his most cherished memory of all three of them together was there.
"How the hell did she get these?" He touched Shannon's face with his thumb and then Kelly's.
Flipping to the next page were more photos of his girls and of his father.
He closed his eyes for a brief moment to calm his emotions.
When he was ready, he turned to the next page. There were photos of Kate and Jenny with his team.
Next page.
Abby scanned the images Kate drew of them and made a page dedicated to her with them.
Tears started to build up in the corner of his eyes as he went on.
Kate. Jenny. Tony. Tim. Vance. Abby. Mike. Ducky. Jimmy. Even Fornell was in a couple of photographs. There were even a handful of him with each of the members of his team.
The first tear fell down his cheek when he reached the last page.
A photograph of Gibbs holding Abby against him pressing a kiss against her forehead. The words "I love you my Silver Fox" were handwritten underneath.
DiNozzo must have taken it.
His mind was so lost in thought that he didn't hear the elevator open. Or when the person walked towards him.
"Gibbs?" Abby's voice came out in a whisper.
Gibbs snapped out of it and quickly placed the scrapbook down. He stood up, knocking his chair to the ground.
"Gibbs I'm sorry if I upse-"
Gibbs pulled her against him and wrapped his arms around her. "Thank you."
Abby smiled against his chest.
"I'm happy you like it Gibbs."
"Love it." He pulled back slightly and moved one of his hands to cup her face. "Abby?"
"Mmmm?" She closed her eyes at the feel of his hand against her cheek.
"You sneak into my house?"
Abby giggled. "Don't leave your door unlocked. I put them all back where they belong. I have them on DVD just to make sure if anything happens you have a-"
"I love you." He cut her off as he lowered his head and pulled her into a kiss.
A shiver went through her.
Abby pulled away from the kiss. "Are you sure? I wont share you."
Moving he head slightly so he was nuzzling the side of her face. "You made me realise what I've had all along Abbs. A family. You." His arms tightened around her. "I don't share either."
"I love you Gibbs." Abby smiled as big as she could. "Happy Birthday."
Gibbs' reply. Another kiss.
