These are my entries for the Twilight Twenty-Five contest. They will be either one-shots or drabbles (which are stories that have exactly 100 words). All must be finished by 1 December. Without further ado, the first story.

Six times. Alice had changed the nursery's paint scheme six times in a week.

Luckily for me, I'd only started painting before two of the changes.

'It's got to be perfect,' she'd announced, resting a hand on her noticeably pregnant stomach and overseeing the beautification.

I smiled broadly, knowing I was covered in a rainbow of paint, and not minding at all. 'Sunshine, the baby won't be able to recognise colours for years.'

'The right style means everything,' she grinned up at me, 'even from day one.'

I held her close and kissed her; I'd happily repaint this room anytime.
