AN: This is my first one-shot and first upload onto fan fiction. All reviews are welcome. I'm here to post my stories as well as improve on my skills as a writer. Please read and review.

The waters of Ga-Wahi shone with the reflection of the lovely Water Toa. Her bright orange eyes reflected all the way down to the bottom of the ricer waters. Her heart longed for him. The brave Fire Toa. Pompous, self-centered, and stubborn as he was, she still wanted to be with him more than anything.
She had come to the river to think of every reason why she shouldn't be with him. She had thought of at least a hundred reasons why he was wrong for her, but still she wanted him. She wanted him to hold her close and never let go. She wanted him to carry her off far away from there island home, far away from their responsibilities as Toa. She just wanted him.
"Mata Nui, what am I to do?" She spoke to the shimmering river, for she felt on it could truly understand her.
"I love Tahu in every way imaginable, but he's everything I've always hated. He's cocky, bossy, self-centered, stubborn. He has absolutely no personality unless he's beating up Rahi. If he's everything I've always hated, then why do I want to be with him so? Why do I want to be with the one who infuriates me the most?
"I mean, the others are closer to what I want more than he could ever be. Pohatu is so much kinder and he's so sweet. But…I never see myself being with him. I see myself with Tahu.
"This is too confusing. I need to forget about all this. My mission is too save the island, not to fall in love with some overbearing, self- centered, bossy…"
"Don't hold back for my sake."
Gali turned around to see the fire red Toa standing right behind her, his arms akimbo and walking towards her.
"So I'm self-centered?"
"Don't forget overbearing and bossy."
"Right. Mind if I sit here?"
"Help yourself."
Tahu sat closely to the beautiful water Toa, her head turning away from his gaze.
"So how much did you hear?"
"Aside from the long list of my negative personality traits? Most everything."
"So then…you know."
He turned his head down.
"Yes. I know. I know…how you feel."
Gali turned her head further from him so as to hide her face as she fought off both angry and sad tears.
"I know how you feel Gali. And I…well…I um…"
Gali turned her face to the fire Toa and looked at him rub his head as if trying to find the right words to say.
"What Tahu?"
"I uh...well..uh…"
She grabbed his shoulder and looked into his orange eyes.
"What is it?"
He grabbed her head and brought her face towards his and kissed her deeply on the lips. It happened so fast that she barely had time to react, but as the kiss deepened she reached her hand around and stroked his head. They let out the kiss only to breath. Tahu softly whispered in her ear.
"That was it."

I sligtly changed the ending. Talking Hawk pointed out a good point to me and apon looking back at this story several months later I agree that Tahu would'nt have told Gali right out that he loved her. Not in character for him. But yeah that's preety much the only thing I changed besides a slight editing mistake.
