Ororo tried not to crinkle her nose as Logan led her into the bar. It reeked of stale alcohol and dirty, sweaty people. Peanut shells crunched underneath their feet as they moved to the first empty table. Logan grabbed a discarded rag and quickly swept it over the table. A chair suddenly flew over their heads as Ororo sat in the chair he offered. "Goddess!" she cried, startled, as a chair suddenly smashed into pieces right above her head.
"G-A-S-T-I . . . Oh . . . GASTON!"
Logan glared at the rowdy singers whose voices had been grating on his ears and nerves since they'd first entered the joint. He kissed Ororo's hand before allowing his claws to unsheathe. "'Scuse me a minute, darlin', while I take out th' trash."
"Logan . . . " Ororo's plea for him not to fight and simply take her to the next stop they encountered was cut off by a drunkard yelling at her.
"HEY, BABE! COME GET YA A PIECE OF THIS! YA KNOW YA WANT IT!"
Ororo lost her appetite at the sight of the burly man's naked, hairy chest.
"Yeah, sweetheart?" Logan asked.
"Never mind," she said with a sweet smile and then watched as her boyfriend beat Gaston thoroughly.
