"Do you know why I love acting?" Roxie looked up at her. Through the haze of tears, Ruby looked like a goddess with her gold blonde curls around her perfect face. "Because in a movie, in the end, someone is always happy, it might not be the person that you want but someone is always happy. Right now, I'm pretty sure that no one around me is happy. I'm not happy and my parents sure as hell aren't happy. And my brother, God, my brother bases his entire happiness on someone who's killing herself. Are you happy?"

Ruby pushed a strand of hair away from Roxie's face as she smiled, "Right now?"

"In general, are you happy?"

"No, but right now, right here, I'm happy. I'm happy because I'm with you. You make me happy, Rox, you make me happier than any person I have ever met before." Ruby's eyes were exactly the color of spring grass at that moment and they were the prettiest thing that Roxanne Weasley had ever seen. "And you have to remember, in all of the movies, the hero has to go through something bad. If everything was daisies and sunshine, where would the story be?"

Roxie threw arms around the other girl, wishing that they could just stay there forever like that.

That's when Roxanne realized that she wasn't perfect and her life sure as hell wasn't perfect but there was one thing in her life that was. She was 5' 4", blonde and perfect.
