Well I guess some of you don't know me yet. My name is David Quimbly. It was only this year I found out I was the son of some Greek goddess. I think the goddess's name was Athena or something like that. I'm not really much of a fan of this Greek Mythology junk … who am I kidding I love that stuff. I actually spend my free time researching and reading selections in the internet. So enough about me and what I'm like let's get to the nice stuff. So this year I was sent to this cool camp named "Camp Half – Blood". I met some new friends like my half – sister Annabeth and Thalia, daughter of Zeus. (Please don't tell her that I think she's creepy).

"So David Quimbly…" muttered Annabeth. I could see some disappointment in her eyes as if she didn't want me as her brother. "Soo …" said Annabeth "… I guess I'll show you around or something."

As she toured me through camp I saw my old friend Chapy. I ran to say hi and didn't notice him talking to Thalia. They seemed to enjoy each other's company. From the looks of it I think he likes her. "Hi!" I shouted "Haven't seen you in like two years!"

With the looks of it he seemed glad to see me. "Hi man I'd hate to say It but I missed you in a – err 'just friends' kind of way." he exclaimed.

The two of us socialized for a few more minutes until we were interrupted by Annabeth and Thalia, who I hadn't noticed have been there the whole time. "Sorry David but we need to go …" said Thalia pulling Chapy away "You guys talk later we uhh need to train."

"Us too." said Annabeth and we walked away. As we continued Annabeth started lecturing me about monsters and such. "So you know Chapy huh?" she blurted out. "He's our brother too you know?" I tried not to laugh but I figured she wasn't kidding. "Really, cool!" I said happily.

As the time passed the tour ended and dinner started. I was so happy I could finally eat. I was so engrossed in eating I didn't notice the other kids throwing some food into the fire.

"Why are you guys doing that?" I asked.

"We're offering some food to our parents." They answered.

"Ohh …" I said confused. I didn't know what to do so I just mimicked what they did.

Soon dinner ended and it was time for bed. I cuddled in my blanket and thought of what I had experienced today.

The End
