She was there, a cup of coffee and a warm smile, everyday of every week.

Always there to make the monsters of the day disappear, someone that didn't see the blood that stained my hands, but helped me wash it all away.

"Why hello there, Mr. Bennet, long time no see. Same old, same old?"

"Same old, same old, Charlie."

Cherry pie and black coffee, with a side of a southern bell, all I needed to make it through the days of blood and guns.
