Just some GrissomGreg fluff. :3

Return
He knew that it wouldn't be for long. It was just a teaching sabbatical. He would be back soon. There was no reason to worry and get upset.
That didn't stop Greg from getting a sickened feeling in the pit of his stomach. He was worried and he was most definitely upset.
Why hadn't Grissom told him he was leaving? Did he really think that Greg wouldn't be able to understand that he needed a break? Did Greg really come off as that naive and selfish?
He even went by Grissom's home, just to see for himself that he was really gone. He took a quick look around, not bothering to open the door with the key he had been given a while back. When he got back to his car, he laid his head against the steering wheel, allowing a few tears to slip down his cheeks.
After that he merely went through the motions. He would force a goofy grin when he was around the others, but it would have taken a group full of idiots to not notice that something was wrong with him, something having to do with Grissom leaving.
One night Greg was curled up on his couch, fast asleep. He didn't hear somebody coming in through the front door. He didn't hear the footsteps coming his way.
He nearly jumped when somebody sat near him on the couch and placed a hand to his cheek.
Greg heard a small chuckle as his eyes snapped open, "G-Grissom...?"
"I'm home, Greg."
Greg sat up, pulling the older man into a hug. An extreme wave of relief washed away the pain he had felt while he was gone. None of that mattered anymore.
He was finally home.

Short and sweet, which is all I seem to be able to write lately. Give me feedback if you please.
