My Life as a Reincarnated Gamer Chapter 1: My Life is a Video Game now?, a manhwa/korean comics/만화 fanfic

A/N: SUP! you're probably wondering why I'm on this instead of Devil Gamer in Remnant, don't worry, that'll still be going on, but I've got a new story for all y'all, one which I'm probably going to be a lot more intuitive with how I use the Gamer ability.

That being said, these Chapters are gonna be a lot more… more in general I guess, DGIR was really a test run that hit off well and I decided to stick to it, I'm enjoying writing it so it isn't being cancelled, it's just that this one is occupying more time since it's longer and more detailed.

I'll only be able to upload 3 times a week, Tuesdays will be 'Devil Gamer in Remnant' while this one will be uploaded weekly on the weekends, most likely Saturday, and the last one will be a new story that I won't hint too.

Other than that, I got nothing else to say, so enjoy the most in depth I may ever go into a piece of work.

Chapter 1: My Life is a Video Game now?

So… this is what it's like to die…?

Alone in an Alley way and bleeding out from a stab wound right to the lung, couldn't even breath if he wanted too…

The smell of blood filled his senses as the warm liquid ran out of his chest while he began to feel light headed, it may have been a few seconds, but it felt like everything slowed down to a near halt, and when he finally managed to close his eyes…

The soul of this man left his body, and journeyed to the afterlife… for whatever may await him there…

In a pitch black void, a small panel appeared, it said [Loading Data…], a moment after it changed.

Just as they all fade a person that seems to be made of blue flames appeared, the flames slowly fade to show a man with blond hair, some shorts and a shirt on.

He slowly opened his eyes to see where he had ended up, and was instantly greet by this.

He looks at it before speaking his mind, "THIS IS THE FUCKING AFTERLIFE?! I WAS HONESTLY EXPECTING HELL OF ALL THINGS BUT THIS TAKES THE FUCKING CAKE AND SLAMS IT INTO THE GROUND WITH SUCH FORCE THAT IT *BEEEEEEEEP* AND KEEPS DRILLING UNTIL IT *BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP* A SWORD WITH A BURRITO!"

Never say he didn't have… colorful language…

After that he regains his breath (pretty grateful to be able to breathe again) before he taps the 'Yes' button.

He looks at it for a moment before sighing, this was going to be… fun?

He presses 'No' and another panel pops up.

He didn't see anything else worth investigating, so he went to the 'Extras'.

She nods to herself, she turns a light on and looks around her room, and she was honestly appalled by the pure quantity of stuffed animals in there.

"Oh yeah, I'm getting rid of these soon… or I could use them as target practice…" she was already forming ideas in her head about how she could use these to her advantage.

She decides to go out of her room and look around, the house was pretty damn big all things considered, well, she was around… three years old? that seems right.

'hmm, my family seems to be loaded in this life, that solves some problems…' she goes back to her room and sits on the ground, she closes her eyes and focuses on drawing out the energy within her to her hand.

Her hand has a faint yellow glow to it, she stands up and grabs a toy plushy and punch it with her glowing fist.

After a few moments gamers mind kicks in and calms her down, she looks at her stats before deciding to put 9 points into WIS and 20 into LUK and the remaining 9 into DEX.

That day she spent reading and studying whatever she could get her hands on, her , which was oddly the only one home all day, maybe her mom was on a business trip?

Anyway her dad looked nice, he had a lab-coat and a business suit on almost 24/7, only shedding the coat to sit down on his breaks.

He had black hair and blue eyes, with Scarlet guessed that's where she got her eyes from, and was surprisingly nice, always trying to make conversation with her and was interested in her studying, and was amazed by her reading skills.

It seemed as there isn't a skill for reading, but oh well.

she had breakfast while reading, spent lunch talking to her dad to gain info on her life, and read every word on the TV at dinner time.

after that she read until 8:30 PM before going to sleep to see how stupidly high her stats have gotten.

She decides to not use the stat points and just going to save them up, she'd probably get them once a day so saving up to train would be useful, and improving a stat when needed is also helpful.

And because her MP regen was too much, she could control when she would or wouldn't age, meaning she looked just like she did when she entered.

Her room looked a lot different now, instead of the stuffed toys, she had a TON of gaming equipment, and literally had a shelf that covered half the wall that was filled with games.

They had a lot of money apparently, she had every latest consol, a VR headset, a gaming computer, and a massive TV.

One thing her father didn't know, is that she sound proofed the room, and started a Youtube channel and managed to get a bank account to get a source of income.

She had apparently gone back in time, around the same time she would have been the same age, so normally famous Youtubers like Pewdiepie, Markiplier and other people like that hadn't started a crusade on Youtube to be the number one gaming channel…

Which meant it was fair game for a five year old that had a voice changer to sound mature.

If she was right Pewds begins when she was 10, so she would be the mysterious Youtuber without a face for a couple of years until she was around 14 or 16.

It was rather fun, one of few ways she talked anymore, in person she had become incredibly introverted, to the point that she doesn't really talk much to her father, but thankfully he doesn't seem to mind at all, and even supports her still.

She decides to equip an armor piece that she like, it was a skull mask that was black with red markings which had 90 DEF when equipped along with an affect called 'Deathly Wish', which sounded edgy and cool as fuck so she liked it, it basically allowed her to store souls of defeated foes to add their souls to the next magic based attack.

She also equipped two weapons, both seemed identical in design, but they were both Kama's that contains two cylindrical pieces of gravity magic each, as well as a gun barrel in the back of the skull head fueled by Mana.

She had developed this fighting style to work in a way that she can retrieve her weapons should they ever get away from her.

she prepares one of her Kama's in her right hand and walk towards it.

she aims for the neck and get a pop up on here screen, -850 HP, so that's nice.

after about ten levels she could find anymore, and as she was about to leave before the ground rumbled under her.

It's been another four years since then, and she has decided to go for only 10 levels a month as to not over saturate her exposure to combat.

Now, for those that can't do math's, 12 months in a year, over four years making that 46, for ten levels each month…

Yeah, she's level 460.

And now she was just casually sitting in a classroom, the arguably strongest and smart being alive in this world, was still attending primary school.

What a joke…

Well… she can say she found a stat limit, WIS wouldn't go above 500,000 no matter that she did.

'Man am I glad it has a cap, I got no idea what to do with all this Mana… maybe make one extremely over powered skill? well, I do have fighting style down to a T, at least nothing has gotten to the point of making me worry… although that's because of my endless reserve of MP, if something can cancel MP regen then I'd be scared.'

She barely pays attention to the class that was going on at the moment, she knew all this stuff and everything up to the end of High school since she was six years old, hiding her intelligence was a stupid idea in hindsight.

'I mean really? they are STILL teaching them to write properly, learning about shapes and how to critic their own work, at least interesting stuff like Space Studies are coming up in next period.'

She hears the bell go off and she heads off to eat alone yet again, she didn't mind though, she never needed to talk to anyone since she was three she didn't need to do so now.

Calmly eating about… 50 meters away from everyone else and around a corner so no one would see her, she watched the clouds while eating a sandwich.

After a while she finished eating, she stands up and walk off towards the Oval of the school and sat on a bench and watch the other kids run to the oval to play some sport games.

After awhile someone walked up to her, it was a boy with blond hair, "Hey there." she looks at him for a moment before tilting her head, "you seem bored, wanna join me and my friends?" Scarlet looks at him for a moment before standing up, and nodding slightly, it would be something to kill the time anyways.

On the way their she simply nods and shakes her head instead of speaking, which the boy decides to bring up, "hey uh… not to sound rude, but do you speak at all?" Scarlet lands her palm downwards and turn it from side to side, the hand gesture of 'slightly'.

"Oh, do you not speak well or have a medical condition?" she shakes her head, "do you just, not like speaking?" she nods to him, while he found it weird he didn't ask anymore.

"Well, I'm Aiden, Aiden Skylark, nice to meet you…" he trails off, Scar pulls out a comically sized sign out from behind her and on it reads 'Scarlet Wave'.

"Nice name, Scarlet." she puts the sign back behind her and it seamlessly disappears, after a moment Aiden speaks up, "wait, where did that sign come from, and where did it go?"

She pulls out another sign, 'Where did it come from Cotton Eye Joe?' he huffs slightly while holding in a laugh, we get to an shaded area under a few of the trees, there were three people there.

One had black hair and blue eyes, the second one had blonde and blue eyes, and the last one had black hair and black eyes.

Scarlet had seen them a few times, their names are Chris, Zack, and Riley in that order.

"Oh, hey Aiden, whose the girl? Oh! don't tell me you got a girlfriend and didn't tell us!" Chris yelled out with an over the top expression on his face, he was rather loud in class…

"No, No, I didn't get a Girlfriend, I invited her over here since she was sitting alone." they nod in acceptance, the four must be close friends if they just accept an answer so easily, or incredibly dumb…

The five sat at a table in the shade, the first to speak was Zack, "Alright, Scarlet, since Aiden invited you over here I hope you don't mind if I explain what we do in our little group?" Scarlet motions him to continue.

"well, we are avid fans of Anime, Games and fantasy like stuff, so we often play games were we have our favorite super powers and fight with them." Scarlet looked confused and was slightly nervous about this.

"We all have an original idea for out powers or own character, so we'll have to make one for yo-" Scarlet put a piece of paper on the table.

"Well, that's convenient." he says while looking it over, he smirks at it before giving her to go ahead, she smiles lightly at him before they go off to play, she might have fun considering these people are all about the abnormal.

Aiden's Character he was playing as was, interesting, a Devil with the power of a Dragon, reminded her of High School DxD, Chris had… Speed powers was all he said, kind of like the flash with how he was using it to play, Zack had Devil powers but was more of a magic caster, and Riley was a Demon hunter that somehow got demon blood in his veins in a hunt.

'well, considering I am in reality a reincarnated man in a young girls body with powers people think to just be fantasy… their characters are pretty normal.' she sighs before continuing the game, they seemed to have this whole story playing out and Aiden seems to right it all down when they finish.

after about 20 minutes and a little play fight later, the bell goes off.

she looks at the four boys in front of her as they walk to class, 'hmm… if they gain my trust I'll teach them about Mana, it could be fun.'
