Hey guys! I'm back after being dormant for a long time. I don't have any programs where I can type and upload full chapters so I'll most likely add on day by day. I haven't determined if this is going to be a one shot or a full blown story. I'm thinking we will see where it goes. I have no written anything in about 4 years-ish so feedback is always appreciated.

Takumi stood void of emotion as he watched the women he loves distance herself from him, agony written on her face. His words seemed to echo throughout his mind, "I don't love you" he repeated his voice low. Amber eyes bore into his a range of emotions flickering within. First Takumi saw the confusion and shock his statement caused, then the anger followed by pain. What hurt him the most was the last thing he saw, nothing. Misaki's entire demeanor changed as if the life itself had been sucked from her being.

"So I was the only one who took us seriously, who thought we were something?" Misaki questioned, monotone.

"You were only a means of entertainment, I was bored and you were interesting enough to pass the time." His heart throbbed as each word rolled off his tongue. Saying it was easier than Takumi expected but it slowly

killed him. He hated seeing her this way. He wanted to close the distance between them, scoop her up in his arms and beg for forgiveness. Things just weren't that simple.

"Is there someone else?" Misaki's body trembled as she spoke, her stoic expression was fading. She held her breath fearful of his response. Tears were threatening to fall as she brought her hand up pinching the bridge of her nose. She was hardly keeping it together.

"There is. I've been seeing her for a while now. I just hadn't realize till now that I've fallen in love with her." A lie. The very thought of loving anyone other than Misaki knocked the air from Takumis lungs. He idea of being with anyone else sickened him. Tears were now freely cascading down Misakis face as she no longer tired to hold them back. She freely cried.

"It's not fair," Takumi barely cought her words, her voice was low and raspy. "I just started to admit that I love you, and now I have to learn how to stop."

"To stop admitting it?" He questioned searching her expression for any sign of hope, chance for forgiveness.

"Loving you, I have to learn not to love you."

Takumi stiffened and shifted his gaze unable to look upon her face any longer. He turned his back to her head down and eyes closed. The urge to cross this room and kiss her senseless, kiss the tears away was overwhelming but he couldn't.

"This is goodbye." The words were forced but Misaki did not notice. She looked at Takumi one last time before leaving.

Takumi didn't move as her shuffled footsteps grew distant he could feel her presence leave the room. The loneliness closed in, suffocating him. The sound of her sobs vanished and silence replaced it burning his ears as he strained to hear any remaining sound of her. She was gone.

"You did good brother" Gerald snickered stepping out from the shadows beaming a cheshire grin. "I will admit I was almost worried but you pulled it off, that girl is completely heart broken. What a mess you've created" he chided while patting Takumi on the back.

"Grandfather will definitely be pleased."

...

That's all for now. I'll most likely make this a story.

I'll have to see where it goes.
