"I could be your perfect disaster, you could be my ever after."
There is so much more to him that what meets the eye. If he hadn't returned, he would've never noticed, or ever had the chance to see what Shion could do. He was so much more than just an elite student drop out, than a friend, than a saviour.
Even when he walked into that door, he saw emotion run through Shions face like a rapid river, and he left his heart jerk at the sight. He missed the dovenette so much more than he realised.
When Shion's arms wrapped around his neck and his soft little face pressed into his shoulder, he feared Shion could hear his rapid heartbeat, and he probably did, too. Though, he never said a word about it. And when Shion placed a meaningless -no, not meaningless, a loving, welcome home kiss to his lips, he left like he should be shot for leaving Shion.
Three years. He was gone for one too long, or so he thought. He never would've figured Shion would wait that long, but he did, and that made him happier than all else. The albino constantly told him how much he loved him, and being the stubborn male he was, he'd, though sullen, honestly, recuperated the feeling after being throughly amused by watching Shion sulk and pout about him not saying it back.
He was happy nothing had happened to Shion, and when he asked the albino to marry him, he was even more happy to know that Shion agreed.
"Till death do you part?" The man in front said, and Shion nodded, without hesitation. That was enough for Nezumi, and he looks at the man in the black get up.
"I do."
"And with this, you may kiss." He replied, and Nezumi, without hesitation, wrapped his arms around Shion, pulled him close, and gently kissed the dovenette.
Pulling back, Nezumi said, "I'm happy you saved me. I love you, Shion."
Shion smiled softly, "and I'm happy you returned. I love you too, Nezumi."
And with that, another kiss was shared, and Nezumi knew that there was no place he'd rather be. He was happy, and he had found an Ever After to accept his Perfect Disaster. And, that was enough for him.
