The sun was just starting to set on the newly torn up earth. Her brother, Michael, and her sister, Kayla, were the last to leave.

Slowly they appeared. Shadows of stories told, or yet to be. That beautiful mind had so many stories left untold.

The tall blonde looked hesitant, and stayed beside the curly haired man with a faraway look.

Around them, they felt the sorrow of those that she touched with her stories, her enthusiasm, and her spirit. This couple was part of her other family, one whose grief spanned the globe.

The blonde squeezed the man's hand. He attempted to speak, but no words came out.

"No one imagined we would be saying goodbye forever to one with so much left to live for." The blonde spoke in a broken voice that was barely above a whisper.

The tears stung as they flowed down their faces. The grief left them again mute. They were spies, and it was their job to remain hidden to the grieving.

But today, they were more than spies. Here they stood to pay their respects for those that could not be here today. The many readers of her stories, the other writers that looked forward to her encouragement, and those that she touched.

Then after a deep sigh, the couple walked hand in hand, and each placed a rose on the grave.

My sister passed away in a tragic car accident. It was sudden and it caught us by surprise. Reading stories from this site always helps her with things. I can't bring myself to delete her account.
