Forever: A Sailor Pluto Story

Author's Notes: This is told from Pluto's point of view (POV). This started out as an English assignment, believe it or not, but it ended up here. Hope you like it. Please review. Who knows, if you review, I might write other stories for the rest of the scouts...^_^
I stand here forever guarding the gates of time. This is my job, my life. But I do get a break here and there when I have to go to Earth to help the rest of the Sailor Scouts. The rest of the time, I'm stuck here for eternity. Believe me, that's a very long time. I should know. I have to guard it from evildoers.
If only I hadn't found the garnet orb that now sits on my staff. And if only I hadn't picked it up. Maybe my life would've been different. But I did pick it up. I took it to Queen Serenity, wanting to know what I found. Of course, she immediately recognized it for what it was. It was the Orb of Time.
I should've known something amazing was going to drastically change my life when Queen Serenity took me to her throne room, handed me the orb, directed me where to stand, and told me to raise the orb high over my head and shout "Orb of Time, Awaken!"
Who knew the Orb would react to me? I certainly didn't. But it did. It glowed brightly, filling the room with his light. Then that dreaded sign appeared. The sign of Pluto.
Queen Serenity gasped at that time. She ran, if that was possible in her long dress, to her secret vault and opened it with the crescent moon wand. A hole in the wall opened and inside were power sticks for all the scouts and a locket for Sailor Moon. She removed the power stick with the sign of the Pluto on it. It was different from the ones for Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus, yet similar to Neptune's and Uranus's.
Queen Serenity handed it to me and told me to shout "Pluto Planet Power!" It's a tongue twister, I know, but it was easy for me to say. Perhaps that is because I'm Sailor Pluto. Perhaps not. But I did say it, activating the power stick, and transformed into Sailor Pluto, complete with staff.
By now, the Orb of Time had stopped glowing and was floating in midair. It drifted down and attached itself to my staff, giving me the power to control time and space. Queen Serenity took me to the Gates of Time and explained everything to me there. She told me of my destiny, my responsibilities, and about the Orb of Time and Gates of Time. Then she left me there to guard.
I won't lie to you. It gets very boring. Once in a while, the other Sailor Scouts will pass through, intent on saving the world. On very rare occasions, I get to leave my post and help the scouts. But that doesn't happen very often. So I have to stay here, guarding the gates of time for eternity. That's a very long time. About as long as forever, I guess you'd say. Yeah, that's about right. Forever.
That is my destiny. I guard time and space. Forever.
