Natsu breathed heavily knowing it was all up to him. This was the final battle. The match everyone was waiting for he wasn't going to hold back. After the third quarter of the fight Natsu walked into guilds room. He was loosing pretty badly. A couple of the guild members sat around in the room, wanting to give him a pep talk. This was a difficult match but they knew he could handle it. Natsu moved into the room in which he would be released into the Arena. Lucy followed him into the empty room so they could talk. She looked down nervously and moved apiece of her hair behind her ear. Lucy knew the way to get him to fight his best. She knew her job. She didn't except it to be this nerve racking -earlier that day- Lucy sat at the bar with Mira and Levy as they chatted about the up coming events that were about to take place. "I really think Natsu is going to kick some butt!" Lucy exclaimed with a smile. Mira and Levy smirked mischievously at her. They had a plan to pursue, and they weren't going to take no for an answer. You see in the guild it was no secret Natsu and Lucy were fond of each other's company. In fact, you could say they fancied each other. "You two okay?" Lucy asked with a nervous chuckle. " Well speaking of Natsu," Levy started, " YOU NEED TO KISS HIM!" Mira squealed with joy, "WHAT?! WHY?!" " Well Lu-chan it's no secret he likes you," "He doesn't! Natsu doesn't have a romantic bone in his body! I'm pretty sure he's asexual!" "I'm sure he does, you just need to awaken it!" Mira exclaimed with joy, "Well maybe when I'm ready to confess ill do it, there is no need to rush things," Lucy stated, "You l-like him back?!" Mira squealed with glee. "Well yeah... But I don't see a that as a reason to kiss him!" "Well as you know he's in the finals, and he needs to win and having a little something more to fight for," "I have faith in him!" Lucy cut her off "He doesn't need me to help him," "But it wouldn't hurt," Lucy sighed knowing this was not a situation she could get out of. "I'll kiss him, if he is loosing! But only if he is loosing!" She chuckled to her self, thinking there was no way he could loose. Her faith in Natsu was strong. Oh how wrong she was. As she stood in the room alone with the dragon slayer she was so fond of. She smiled to her self. "You were getting pretty beat up back there," she said in a low tone. He chuckled, "Yeah, but that ends here," he turned to her. "I'm all fired up!" She took a step closer toward him, which rose his eye brow. She put her hand on the back of his neck and lightly pushed her lips onto his. She had only meant for it to be a light peck, but as soon as their lips met a fire that was hidden deep inside of her began to burn. She knew he felt it too. He grabbed her at the waist and pulled her figure closer to then wrapped both her arms around him. The two mage's lips moved in harmony for two minutes. It only ended at the sound of the bell. Lucy broke the kiss and Natsu loosened his grip on her waist. Their foreheads met as they caught their breath. She looked into his eyes and smiled. "Good luck Natsu!" She smiled and made her way out. He grabbed her hand, which made her turn around immediately. He stared at her with flushed cheeks, it was like he was saying a million words with out saying one. "Thank you," he said putting his attention to his feet to hide his embarrassment. "Win out there, I believe in you!" Lucy encouraged, "I think we need to talk," "After wards, we have plenty of time for talking Natsu, but for now you have a guild who's name needs to be honored!" He gave me his famous toothy grin then headed out. I smiled. He won.
