Long Time No See (Pilot 1)

Mags woke up with the sun glaring down at her. She sat up groggily, her vision blur and her head aching.

"Thank god you're awake," a man who was sitting beside her said. She looked at him inquisitively, he returned the same look before realising that he hadn't introduced himself yet. "I'm Jack, by the way."

"I'm Maggie," she replied softly before realising that she had no idea where she was. "Where are we? What happened?" she asked quickly, a hysteric look beginning to form on her face.

"Maggie, I need you to calm down and stay that way to whatever you're about to hear next," he said slowly and carefully. She looked around. People were screaming, running around. There were remains of a plane strewn all over. Then it hit her, the bloody plane crashed! She turned to Jack and said, "We crash landed didn't we?" he nodded gravely.

A long, high-pitched sound escaped her lips as she wrapped her arms around her knees and sobbed. It was an odd feeling as she hadn't cried for a long time. 7 years to be exact… she hadn't cried since he left. 'No.' She thought, 'Don't go there,' she knew she had to pull herself together. She knew that since the day her daughter was born…

"Sally!" she screamed before running off, abandoning Jack, by accident. She ran around asking fellow survivors if they had seen her daughter.

"How old is she?" one of them asked.

"6, and she has her hair in a braid and she's this tall," Mags said, holding her arm at her hip.

"Oh! I think I saw her, she was walking along the shore with this guy," he replied.

"Thank you!" she cried in joy knowing that her daughter might still be alive. She kissed him on the cheek before running towards the shore.

"Hey, Miss?" she stopped and turned around.

"Yes?"

"Do you have a pen?"

"Don't touch my daughter, Sawyer!" Mags snarled as she pulled her child away from him.

"Well, well, Madge, never thought I'd ever hear you say my name again," the man smirked. She glared at him, suppressed feelings rushing throughout her body once again.

"Sally, love, go play in the shallow water for a bit will you?" Mags said gently to her daughter. Sally nodded before sitting a distance away from them, within sight but out of an earshot.

Sawyer looked at Mags, not saying anything. They stood in awkward silence before she finally spoke up, "Stay away from her and me, got it?"

"I don't think I can promise you that, sweet cheeks," his smirk faded off. She looked at him in disgust.

"You don't have to promise anything, just do it."

She walked to her angel and picked her up, "C'mon, dolly, let's go find our things, maybe we'll find Mister Pepper!' she cooed. She looked calm but inside, she was panicking but she had to be brave for her daughter. After all, Sally didn't have a father.
