DM Who the Devil Am I?
It was hustle and bustle in the residence of Gru. Gru was working with Dr Nefario. Lucy was busy sorting out some papers for the AVL and the girls were tearing about having a whale of a time running around and around the house of Gru.
Suddenly, Edith ran headfirst right into the wall and fell right over! But she didn't even say ''Ouch!'', she just lay very still staring up at the celling. Margo called for Gru and the ex-super villain stared down at his middle aged daughter for quite a while.
''Where am I?'' he heard Edith say rather feebly. Lucy, Margo and Agnes watched anxiously. ''Eet looks like Edith has lost her memory when she banged her head on the wall'' Gru declared ''so we're going to have help her by reminding her of who she is''.
He took off his jacket and placed it right under Edith's head. The blonde haired girl continued to stare into outer space. ''Will she be alright?'' Margo asked Gru worriedly. ''I hope so, Margo'' Gru said ''but I don't know''. He helped Edith to stand up which was quite a bit of a struggle.
''Edith, eet's me Gru your loving father'' he said gently ''remember me, I saved you from Vector when he kidnapped you and your sisters?''. ''Edith'' Lucy said ''remember when you had to go to hospital in an ambulance?''.
Margo was the next to have a go. ''Edith, it's me Margo your big sister. Remember when you didn't like seeing me with Antonio?''. But Edith just stared at her as if she had never seen her before. Then Agnes had a go at reminding Edith.
''Edith it's me Agnes your younger sister. Remember the time when Margo caught a nasty cold and you and me did her chores as well as our own and by the end of the day we were really tired out?''. Edith made a strange groaning sound.
''Eet's no good'' Gru said sadly ''I feel as if we've lost her just like when Miss Hattie took her back along with Margo and Agnes''. The name ''Miss Hattie'' hit Edith like a big slap right in the face. ''M-Miss Hattie?'' she asked. ''Oh look, her memory's coming back!'' Lucy declared.
Margo quickly ran and fetched Edith's ninja kit and helped her change into it. ''Remember how much you like ninjas Edith?'' she asked hopefully. She led Edith in front of the mirror. A smile spread over Edith's face. ''Oh yes I do'' she exclaimed ''which reminds me. I got to go and practice my ninja skills''.
As Edith ran off. Gru grinned at Margo and said ''Well done Margo, dat helped Edith get her memory back!''.
