Yeah so this gets off to a bit of a slow start. I apologize for the extremely terrible writing quality.
Draco was jolted awake by the train coming to a halt. As soon as he regained consciousness though, he remembered it again. His report card. He knew he would have to face his father with it, and he knew there would be grave consequences.
He collected his things and exited the train, eyeing the crowd nervously for his family. He quickly spotted his father and started walking towards him. His mother hugged him and Draco wished he didn't have to give them his report card to spoil their holidays. They soon arrived at their home.
"Draco. Let's see your report card." Lucius said after dinner.
"Yes Father." Draco's heart slowly sank.
As he went to get it, he felt sick with dread.
He placed it on the table and watched as his father's emotionless eyes scanned it.
"Draco. Is this some sort of mistake?" Lucius icily asked.
"No father." Draco replied.
"Draco? Are you stupid?" Lucius started, his words sounding cruel, "Because you have F's in over half of your classes. I raised you to be the best. THIS IS NOT THE BEST." Lucius screamed, standing up and slowly advancing towards his frightened son.
"Father I'm sorry, I-" He was cut off by a smack across the face.
Tears started to well up in his green eyes.
"Don't you cry now Draco, don't you DARE cry."
Draco backed into the corner while Lucius continued to advance on him.
"Why can't you ever be good enough Draco hmm? Maybe its because you spend too much time around those filthy mud bloods, maybe it's rubbed off on you eh? Maybe you just as well be one."
Lucius took the tip of his wand and put it on his son's arm, as Draco bit back a scream. Pain shot up his arm like it was being burnt.
"Oh you don't like that? Well I don't like YOU. I wish you could have never been born." Lucious hissed, removing his wand from Draco's arm.
Lucius muttered another spell and Draco crumpled to the ground like he had been hit.
Lucius used the charm to hit him again and again.
"You're not my son." He finally finished and left the room.
Draco lay on the ground broken, the blood from his beating slowly dripping onto the ground.
He let a single tear fall. Remembering what his father said.
"Don't you cry now Draco, don't you DARE cry."
He repeated the words over and over to himself that night as he cried himself to sleep.
I hope I'll be able to publish another chapter soon. PLEASE REVIEW- I am having a really hard time figuring out what's going to happen next.
