This fic takes place near the end of Sanctuary's Arc where Saga is facing Athena and other Gold Saints. I think it was in the episode 73? 😊😊

Summary: "Saga, my Saga I mean is telling me to stay put and don't mess with the past more than I 'have surely done'."

"Saga, in order to show your penance, you ought to revoke your fist." The request, though softly spoken, came out clear and strong in the wide clearing.

Bailing his fist in frustration, the black haired Saga glared venomously at the girl in front of him. A thirteen year old girl should not have frighten him. Even with the nike and the other gold saints following her every move, it should be very easy to kill her. She was just one little girl. A little girl who happened to be the blasted incarnation of Goddess Athena! gritted his teeth, a conflicting desire to protect-kill-protect rising up inside him.

Kill! Kill! Kill!

You can't kill Athena. You're a saint of Athena too.

"Shut..."

Kill her!

You can't-

Kill Athena!

"Shut up!"

You can't kill Athena. You're a saint of Athena.

Kill her! Kill Athena! Kill! Kill-

"Die! Athena!"

With an enraged yell, the Saint of Gemini launched himself at the purple-haired goddess.

There was a sound of impact followed by a brilliant flash of light that caused most of the surrounding saints to shield their eyes. As the light finally dispated, they slowly opened their eyes and gasped upon seeing what was happening.

A figure with long blue hair and clad in familiar golden armor had actually stopped the would-be tragic confrontation between a saint and his goddess. He was holding Saga's outstretched fist with one hand and also Athena's nike with his other. However, what surprised them the most was not the Gemini Cloth he was wearing but the fact that the man himself was the mirror image of Saga!

"Wh-what...?"

"I'm sorry, Athena, but I can't let you accidentally kill him this time." The Saga look-alike sent the bewildered girl a grim smile and slowly let go of the specter.

"Who...are you?"

Struggling to keep his dark personality at bay, Gemini Saga finally took a good look at his so-called savior and got a surprise of his own. He would have never thought that the man could actually be alive. "Ka-Kanon..."

The younger Gemini glanced at Saga and smirked, "It's good to see you, brother of mine." He looked over the older for a second before commenting, "You know black doesn't really suit you."
