The Lonely Road.
Chapter. 1
It was a calm day, the sun was shining and everypony seems to be busy as they where… Except for one pony, me… I was always the one that was never busy… I was the one that always sat on his chair, doing nothing… Absolutely nothing… But that changed… It changed all just in one day… From the sunny bright day… To the day it happened… Where it all started…
My name is Shadow Ink.
I'm just an average unicorn, at least that's what I think I was… I mean, I was simple, quiet, a pony who would never stick out off any major groups of ponies. I was just simple in one big word, my talent is writing, I love writing stories, somehow it always cheered me up, in any way… Only this time it never gotten as I wanted it…
"Mom! I'm going out for today, I'll be back late… So don't stay up for me." I yelled over to my mom. I live with my parents and my sister in a small house, my dad was off working and my sister was at her coltfriends place, so my mom and I where alone… Well now she was alone.
I heard her sigh from the livingroom. "Y-yeah, I'll stay here for you… Waiting like always…" I couldn't hear her last few words, she probably mumbled them to herself. "I'll be asleep when you get home, have fun, Shadow."
"Thanks mom! See you tomorrow and have some sleep, bye." I opened the front door and trotted trough it, closing it behind me, hearing my mom say a faintly heard "Goodbye."
I trotted trough the streets of Trottingham, since I live there. It was a busy town, I liked it that way… Nopony ever disturbed another with their businesses, so I was always left alone.
And here… Here it happened, I was trotting towards my marefriend's house, her name was Soothsales, she was an earthpony, one thing my parents didn't like about her, since we all are unicorns in our family… Soothsales, she was a beautiful mare, soft brown coat, her mane and tail soft black, she was the perfect mare for me, the only thing I look out for at the end for the day. Her apartment was rather far away from my house, so it was a long trot, it got even worse as it started to rain… Luckily I had my hoodie on, so I could just put the hood from my hoodie on my head, the clattering from the rain on my hoodie was… Relaxing, it made me think about things, about life… But I wasn't paying attention… And I got… Hit, by a carriage… Which was rolling downhill's towards me… I got hit with force… I remembered that I flew around in the air… Some ponies screaming… And then I hit the ground… Everything went black…
