Horton babysits rudy
It was another morning in nool Horton has no class today because it was Saturday so Horton can finally relax then he heard someone walking up to him
"Hi horton" said a voice it was kangaroo
"Oh hey what's up" asked horton with a smile
"I'm fine listen I need to go out for awhile can you babysit rudy" asked kangaroo with a smile
"Of course" horton agreeded
"Ok Rudy be good to horton ok" kangaroo asked his son letting him out of her pouch
"Ok mom" rudy said with a smile
Kangaroo gave rudy a hug and starts leaving he started to feel a bit sad that she's gone but he's glad he has horton
"Well rudy why not we have some fun" said horton letting him on his back
"Yeah" he said excitedly getting on his back
They had fun they went swimming they talked and even play some pranks on the wikershims brothers but then their was trouble horton let rudy play by himself for a bit so Horton can relax
But suddenly while rudy was hopping he trip on a rock and spranged his ankle he let out a huge cry
"OW AHHHHH" cried rudy who was crying extremely hard
When horton woke up and heard Rudy crying loudly he ran to him to see what's wrong
"Rudy what happened it's ok" horton said trying to calm him down but rudy couldn't even speak because his ankle is hurting him like crazy
So Horton carefully carry rudy to a clover bed and got Katie to get geritude the doctor bird and horton ran to get his mom
Kangaroo was busy picking fruit for her and rudy then she heard horton
"Kangaroo we got trouble" yelled horton panicing
"What's wrong" asked kangaroo who was getting worried
"I let rudy play for awhile while I relax then he hopped but he triped on a rock and spranged his ankle" cried horton this
Kangaroo was shocked
"MY BABY" she screamed and she ran with horton to where rudy was
When they got there geritude was already there waiting for them they found rudy on a clover bed crying
"It's ok Rudy mommy is right here" she said trying to calm him down while geritude was putting on his cast but rudy was too scared and his tears keep pouring so kangaroo sang a little song to make him feel better
"Let me hold you in my arms Let me keep you safe and warm Let me bring you to a place where there is no harm...no harm.. and as long as your with me and we both got family And we'll have everything we need..and they'll be no harm...no harm" kangaroo kept singing and rudy started singing a bit
"No harm no harm" rudy sang wiping his tears
"And if you ever lose your way and sunny skies have turned to grey just remember come what may and when things come tumbling and world keeps on spinning round...and no matter what you do...even if i'm not there too..there's a place inside of you..where they're is no harm no harm...no harm..no harm" kangaroo finished and rudy fell asleep
geritude finished the cast
"Just a couple of weeks and rest and he will be all better" she said about to fly away
"Ok thank you" she said waving but horton felt bad and walked to her
"Sorry about rudy" he said trying to apologize
"Oh horton it was an accident" she said with smile "and you did good babysitting"
Horton smiled and hugged her and stayed with her and rudy
