I walked through school that day with one thought in my head and that was of the mysterious boy with piercing emerald green eyes. Lets recap. He ran over my glasses that morning while I was talking to alli and she had thrown them. He suavely got out of the car, wait no not car a hearse(what kind of teenager drives a hearse!) he slowly picked them up. Not only did he drive a hearse he dressed in all black, but the look suited him. He was utterly…breath taking.
"I think they're dead" he said with an amused smirk. I then stuttered something about having laser eye surgery and not needing them. Could I be more of an idiot?
"You have pretty eyes" he told me, staring intently into what felt like my soul.
"thanks" I replied almost melting right then and there. I felt myself blush, my heart pounding.
"I'll see you around" couldn't I think of anything better?
"Guess you will" he answered, still with that mysterious smirk on his face. He got back into the car and drove away, leaving me there with Alli grinning like an idiot. No boy had, had this effect on me since KC and that terrified me.
I almost walked past the room as I continued to replay the scene and those 11 words in my head, only to find him sitting at a desk. My heart stopped beating. There he, was the boy with the emerald eyes, sitting in desk in front of mine…greattt. I walked to the desk and sat down pretending not to notice him, though clearly I did. Ms. Daws handed our papers back. I got a C. this had to be a mistake I never get C's it's not me. I asked her about it and she said it wasn't personal. Her solution to the dilemma was a writing partner the mystifying gorgeous boy in front of me. When the bell rang I bolted out of class only to run into him at the door. He smirked and pushed past me. Ugh that smirk or whatever it was made me want to die.
His name was Eli, he was a junior. This was about to get very interesting.
