I became a master by not waiting for luck. I did things my own way…a different way. I've spoken and befriended this world's equivalent to God and The Devil. But even legends like myself have humble beginnings. Let me tell you a long tale about how I got to this point with my 2 travelling companions: Dawn and Gold.
I suppose I should introduce myself first shouldn't I? I'm Red. I suppose we should start at the time me, Dawn and Gold got our starters. As we lived in Sinnoh, we had 3 options: the grass type starter Turtwig, the fire type starter Chimchar and the water type starter Piplup. I got Chimchar called him Blaze. Gold got Turtwig and named him Terra. Dawn got Piplup and named her Rane. And so we left the professor's lab, eager to start our journey.
As we travelled down Route 1, we discussed what we wanted to do on our journey. I instantly replied, "I want to win the Sinnoh League and, maybe take down the Elite 4 and champion Cynthia." Gold chuckled
"Good luck with that. Cynthia is currently ranked the best trainer in the world."
"Thanks" was my reply before I turned to Dawn. "What about you?" I asked her.
She sighed. "I know what I want to do but I'm afraid you guys will find it silly."
"No we won't Dawn. We promise." Gold and I replied in sync.
"I want to win the Sinnoh contests and become a Top Coordinator"
It took Gold all of 2 seconds to start laughing. "See!" she said, "I knew I shouldn't have told you guys"
"Hey I'm not laughing" was my reply. "Now, if Gold would kindly shut up…" His laughter died down almost immediately. "Thank you. Now I want to see if I can catch any new Pokémon to train." Gold and Dawn watch my back disappear into the tall grass.
