Their Time Together and her Observation
It was a pleasantly peacefully afternoon in Resembool (three days after the Promised Day to be exact), and the Elric brothers' childhood friend, Winry Rockbell was just enjoying spending the day with her two favorite guys (especially because Alphonse finally had his body back). Although the majority of the day was spent having Al relaxing (and eating), the three of them had also gone for a walk , and playing with Den. After a while, they went back inside and Winry, (being the mechanic she is) went upstairs to get back to work on her automail, while Ed and Al just sat on the couch and talked to each other. A few hours later, as the sun was just starting to set over the horizon, Winry came back down stairs and made dinner-stew. After they'd finished dinner, Ed just sat and talked with Al some more, and Winry smiled at the brothers as she made her way back upstairs again to finish her Automail. Winry stayed inside her workshop and worked until midnight. When she realized what time it was, she left the workshop to check on the brothers. But when she got down stairs, she was surprised to see that they weren't there. ("They must've gone upstairs while I was working", thought Winry.) So, she went back upstairs to check and see if they were in their room. The door was closed, so she had to knock. When neither Edward nor Alphonse answered the door, and she couldn't hear anything on her side of the door, she got ahold of the handle and opened the door. Once it was open, however, she found out why they hadn't opened the door for her. Both of the Elric brothers were sound asleep in Al's bed. When Winry went in to get a closer look, she couldn't help but smile when she noticed that Ed hone hand on the back of Al's head (holding it to his chest), and his other arm was around his brother's waist, while both of Al arms were wrapped around Ed's waist. Very carefully (and quietly) Winry located a blanket, and draped it over the boys. Then, she went back over to the door, turned out their bedroom light, and closed the door on the way out. After that, she went back to her own room to change her clothes and go to bed herself.

(A/N: I honestly don't know what happened to Pinako after the Promised Day, so that's why she isn't in this fanfic. But, I'd assume that she she'd still be alive, so maybe she'd just be on a trip to get more Automail parts.)
