It has
been one million years since the fall of the Galactic Empire. Since
the Empire's fall, many governments have tried to hold power in
this galaxy and others.
The last of these groups, the Inter-Galactic Order of the Jedi Kingdom, took power five thousand years ago. They defeated the New Inter-Galactic Republic of Worlds, who ruled for two thousand years.
It is a dark time for the galaxy. The Jedi, once the saviors of this galaxy and others, had finally decided that they would be better in power, and now rule an authoritative regime under which no dissent is allow. When they see a rebellion, they do not simply crush it: they use their powers to make the rebels into law-abiding citizens in this "perfect universe" of theirs.
I am
Darth Reecla, Lord of the Sith. My mission is to overthrow this
tyrannical regime and remake the Order of the Sith. I exist to
fulfill the prophecy made three years after the last Galactic Empire
fell: after the Sith have disappeared for ten thousand years and the
Jedi have reigned for five, the Sith will return. There will be one
last Sith Order, and that Sith Order shall battle the Jedi for
dominance in the universe. Whoever wins shall rule forever more,
whoever loses shall never exist again. I am making this
holocron to record these events. If you are listening to this and my
mission has failed, you probably know nothing of the history I am
speaking of. The Jedi have done their best to eliminate all traces of
history before they took power. They claim there was no civilization
before the Jedi Kingdom. They claim that there was no Sith. I
do not hate the Jedi. Once they were a great Order, once they fought
for what was just. Now, they simply oppress.
It is a dark time for the galaxy. This is the story of the galaxy's last stand.
