Disclaimer: I don't own Hellsing, the characters Seras Victoria or Alucard, but then you already knew that, as this story wouldn't be in a fan fiction site if it wasn't from a fan or a work of fiction.

Its there, I know its there, its there because it was put there for me, but I don't want it.

Deep inside the Hellsing mansion, underneath the historic paintings, elegant architecture and giant windows that let the sun in like some distant friend you haven't seen for a while, there is a dungeon, full of corridors leading too secret army training grounds, weapon storages and cells. It is one cell that Seras Victoria, a former D-11 policewoman, sits, in silence, her head resting on her folded arms staring at a bucket of ice, containing a blood pack.

It won't go away; no-one will take it from me, not even... master. I cant put it off for long, I cant deny what I've become, even if I went to sleep it would still be there, waiting for me, teasing me, showing me that I'm becoming less and less of a human and more of a...

Seras looked outside through the tiny window in her "room", its dusk, she looked at her bed, it was neatly made with not a crease in sight, and she had done it to pass the time, to prolong drinking the blood. Seras closed her eyes to block out the image of the pack but that just made it worse, the more she tried not too think about it, the more it would come into her mind, this wasn't the first time she had have to drink blood, the first time she did it was after she saw Alucard, her vampire master, drain the life out of some news reporter for broadcasting illegal execution videos on the internet.

If master can do it then so can I, it would just be like... drinking tomato juice.

She put her head up focusing solely on the blood pack; she sat there just breathing for a while.

It'll just be like tomato juice.

She sat there still breathing, her heart beginning to quicken, her lungs feeling heavier with every breath.

It's just tomato juice.

She licked her lips to prepare for the fluid she was going to take and loosened her right arm.

Tomato juice. Seras began slowly reaching out to the bucket.

Tomato Juice.

She began to cringe with every thought, her hand beginning to shake getting closer to the pack which seemed far away but was actually a few inches away.

Tomato Juice!

Seras' hand was now directly above the blood pack, all she had to do was grab it, rip it open and drink. She looked away and shut her eyes as she moves down onto the pack like a crane on a building site.

Tomato Juice! Tomato Juice!! TOMATO JUICE!!!

Seras grabs at the pack but as soon as she does.

Blood! It's blood, its real blood, not tomato juice but blood!

With that thought etched in her mind, Seras recoils and slumps back into the chair her head dropped in shame.

If you don't drink, you will become weak, weaker than the humans.

It was Seras' master, Alucard, she instantly looked up at the ceiling, knowing he wasn't there.

Master, I know that but...

Weaker than the pathetic excuses of vampire that walk this earth.

Yes master I know, but...

It wasn't worth continuing, Alucard had gone, and Seras felt that she had let him down, that she had disappointed him. Seras began to feel weaker than she actually was and climbed into her well made bed, rustling up the sheets as she stretched her legs to try and get comfortable, Seras lay on her chest, head again sitting in her crossed arms and closed her eyes.

I won't disappoint you again, master.

With the night engulfing the sky, Seras let her coffin sink into the floor where she could be alone.
